INTRODUCTION
This report of management accommodation service will shows the different type of
accommodation service which shows that why management is important in accommodation
services further this report will shows the various role of front office department, this report of
management accommodation service also shows contribution of housekeeping department with
other departments. The hotel Marriott is the luxurious hotel all over world. Lastly this report
shows the roles of other department and security department in accommodation service.

Functions of front office
In any hotel Front Desk is very important department because they are the only one who
have direct contact with the guest initially. There are many main functions of Front office but
major are Reservation, Check-in and check-out, cashiering, inquire and the guest services. If any
guest has any problem, or they have any questions regarding their hotel room they can directly
contact to front office.
The major key role of Front Office department
Guest service: Guest service is the most important thing for any hotel because their consumer
reviews and feedbacks are the most preferable things which is seen by their any future customers
(Bakker (2018). The front office of hotel Marriott serves their guest with their best and that's
why the reviews and feedback of their customers attract their future customers.
Finance and Foreign exchange: This section of hotel comes under accounting department;
Hotel Marriott provides the foreign exchange services to their customers. Most of the customers
seek out the hotel Marriott because of their service of Foreign exchange.
Reservation: This department of hotel comes under very important section because this
department have to register the room for their guest from various sources. The hotel Marriott is
leading in this factor because they provide the best technical resources to their hotel and that's
why their team never make any mistake in registering or reserving any room for their guest.
Update room’s status: This section of hotel is to take care of the status of their rooms, and they
also have responsibility to give the proper status of the rooms such as if the customers has
