INTRODUCTION
Value ethics are very crucial for the working of the business and every business works on the
value ethics to improve the result in the business. It is crucial for the business to follow the
ethical consideration and also develop the process of increasing result. The report will explain
the ethical practices of the working in the UK and the report further will explain cause and effect
of the essay in this. Further the report will explain the GDPR changes in the act which can be
used in the workplace and organization.

by the ethics
Ethics is termed as the branch of philosophy
which is used to seek and addressing the
issues that are related to the concepts which
includes both right and wrong. On the other
hand they are also known as the moral
theory that are focused on the factor that are
related to how the moral values are
determined and along with this what are the
things that will make them right and wrong
and for that what will be done to solve that
ethics (Reynolds and Dang, 2017). Ethics is
also the code of conduct that was set by the
business in knowing the principles at the
time of performing tasks.
The factors that are influenced by the
business ethics are:
Personal code of ethics: This factor are
influenced by the business in the form of
morale and behaviours.
Legislation: It is influenced by enact and
government laws at the time when the
business becomes selfish and start ignoring
their responsibility that are done towards
their society. As no society in the world can
tolerate the misbehaviour that are
continuously (Shilton, 2018).
Government rules and regulations: In
ethics they have to follow different
regulation to support laws that are related to
the product safety, statutory warming and
working conditions etc.
Ethical code of company: at the time when
the company starts growing they have to
follow different standards that are related to
the trends to rise. The unethical behaviours
of the company will put the reputation,
public image and good will in danger and
will also result in bad.
Social pressures: this are the important
factors that influenced the ethics in the
business if the company will involve or will

perform the activity to conduct unethical
then the consumers of the company will be
indifferent from the organisation.

In the workplace ethics play an important
role that is:
Protect fundamental rights: when the
workers of the company think about the
workplace ethics first thing in their mind set
is protection that is related to the illegal
activity and immoral behaviour in the jobs.
On the other hand it also provides the rules
and regulations that are regarding the human
rights that are performed in the office.
Countries like UL have faced the issues that
are regarding the age, gender and disability.
Protects company assets: Workplace ethics
helps the organisation to protect their
company from the false documents and
thefts. It protects the assets of the company
in manner of employee contribution and
treating their employees in respect, fairly
and dignity manner. Employees who are
hard-working and are proud for the things
that are performed by them they know what
are the benefits of the ethics in the
workplace.
The biggest scandal was faced by Facebook
in the year 2018 that the company was
sharing the data of the individuals without
their permission to the other company and
have not kept the privacy protections and
moderation which have resulted the profits
of the company in bad manner. The
information of the around 87 million users
who were using Facebook worldwide.
Positive: the positive impact on the company
was by this scandal they have learned the
several things that is they cannot share the
important and privacy information of the
individuals without taking permission of
them.
Negative: At the time of scandal the
company have faced various problems that
are related to they have started facing lose as
the individuals and people who were using
the Facebook have deactivated their
accounts along with they have stopped using
the Apps. By this scandal the reputation of
the company have resulted in damaging in
the bad manner.
