INTRODUCTION
Business ethics within an organization play a vital role in promoting operations and
activities of firm to fulfill the requirements of business towards the community (Al-Janabi and
Alkaim, 2020). This project reflects discussion on ethics along with factors that influence ethics
at workplace along with several laws that reflects good ethics in an organization. It also
represents an essay on CSR within an organization that reflects contribution of company. At last
it discusses the collaborative working that is essential for an organization. To complete this
project study Facebook organization is to be undertaken as it an American conglomerate based
company that was founded by Mark Zuckerberg since February 2004.

Ethics along with factors that influence ethics
Ethics- Ethics refers to a system of moral
philosophy or code of conduct that affects
how people make decisions and lead their
lives. In simple term, ethics is defines as a
concept of right or wrong behavior (Rubin
and et. al., 2018). In present scenario of
business ethics play an essential role in
performing business activities and
developing trust between society, clients,
partners etc. that are involved in performing
business activities. In case of Facebook,
organization highly focuses on ethics while
performing business activities so that
profitable results are enjoyed. There are
several factors which may influence ethics
that are presented below:
Culture- The first factor that
influences ethics in business is culture.
Culture is an integration of customs, norms
and practices of group of individuals.
Culture defines the way of an individual
person to perform the things. For instance-
the major influence of ethics is power
distance rating of culture. In high rating
culture authority is not questioned whereas
in low rating culture authority of power is
questioned. Hence culture influence
business ethics because it demonstrates how
easily subordinates can questions their top
authority.
Government rules and regulations-
In terms of ethics it is an essential factor that
influence working practice, regulatory alerts

etc. that are supported by legislation. These
regulation and rules helps business
managers to take decisions appropriately
and effectively that impacted on ethics of
business. In this taxes are dependent on
amount of money that would be holding by
every organization. Hence government
policies are directly affects ethics of
business. For instance- In Facebook,
government rules and regulation are highly
followed that helps in setting business ethics
appropriately that does not harm any
individual person who are connected.
Hence, the above factors are highly
influence on ethics within the organization
working place. This factors are government
rules and regulation, culture are major
contributor towards following the ethics in
an organization (Le Pennec and Raufflet,
2018).
Workplace ethics are important in an organization
Every organization has an ethical code of
conduct that guides them in making
decisions so that productive results are
attained and reputation would be
maintained. Workplace ethics are very
important for an organization as it represents
transparency and honesty at workplace so
that targets are attained on time. Workplace
ethics are very important to promote
teamwork and cooperation that helps in
completing the objectives on deadline
(Datnow and Park, 2018). In a business firm
workplace ethics are also beneficial in
fostering a positive public image so that
high profitable results are enjoyed along
with gaining competitive advantage at
marketplace. By adopting workplace ethical
standards a business enterprise prevent from
property theft and falsification of documents
that enhances the assets value and income.
To effectively understand the
workplace ethics, this section takes an
example of Facebook scandal that affects the
company profitability and dignity at
marketplace. Facebook faces the issues of
privacy scandal that centers on the gathering
of personally identifiable information of
around 87 million people a strategic
communication and political consulting firm
Cambridge Analytica (Facebook data

According to this viral scandal, company
and other are able to gain access of personal
data of Facebook users by using several
factors that involves inadequate safeguards
