INTRODUCTION
Workplace values and ethics are established at the helm of the organization. Values and
ethics define what the company perceives as important regarding the behaviour of everyone from
the top-level executive to the employees working with consumers.
This report will explain the definition of the ethics and factors that influence the ethics
within the business. It will explain the importance of workplace ethics and laws in the UK that
promote the good ethical practices. This report also discussed the work done by rte TOMS and
Starbucks and explain the issues that faced and mentioned the 5 rules of the public client expect
employees in the both the organization. In the end task this report will discuss about the
collaborative working practices and their strategies. It will discussed the value and interpersonal
skills and benefits of collaborative working practices at the workplace.

Introduction
This new will explain the definition of the ethics and factors that influence the ethics
within the business. It will explain the importance of workplace ethics and laws in the UK that
promote the good ethical practices
A) Definition of ethics and factors that influence the ethics
Business ethics are the study of an appropriate business practices and the polices regard
to the controversial subjects including the corporate governance, Discrimination, Bribery and
corporate social responsibilities (Chenoweth, L. and McAuliffe., 2017). It is necessary for the
organization to work ethically, so they can create goodwill in the market, unethical behaviour by
the business can affect the image of the business and company can face various problems within
their business.
Type of ethics
' here are various type of ethics in the business it can cover the personal responsibilities,
loyalty, respect to the superiors, loyalty, fairness and community and environmental
responsibilities.
For examples- company should give equal opportunities to both mail and female employees so
their image can be improved in the market.
Factors that influence ethics

Employees bad behaviour with the customers affect the companies reputation.
Desecration on the basis of equality affect
performance of the company
Strike by the employees

There are some factors within the business environment that can affect the ethics of the
business and here are some of them.
Political factors
Political factors within the business environment can affect the ethics of the business.
Politically corrupted parties can demand for the funds to run their business which can be
unethical issues and create issues for the business if they cough giving the black money to the
political parties. It will rune their image within the market, and they can also lose their customers
and supplier and their whole business can get affectedly.
Special factors
Social factors like behaviour unethically with the employees and not providing them their
rights also come under the ethical behaviour. It is necessary for the company to provide rights to
their employees, so they can promote good business ethics and employees should get their rights
within the business.
