OVERVIEW
It has been seen that the System Center Virtual Machine Manager or SCVMM can offer different
types of advantages to the virtual infrastructure. In this task, different features of SCVMM have
been found to investigate. All the more explicitly, it has been seen that SCVMM can be monitor
for virtual machine host as per the accordance with following diagram as SCVMM is used install
inside a virtual machine approach. There is an arrow which shows the host which is again found
to manage and monitor through SCVMM.
OBJECTIVES
Following undertakings are expected to execute in two hosts in this Lab environment:
1. To check that after inserting the SQL server which is used by SCVMM for the machine as that
would not used for operating the virtual machine service.
2. To have at least two hosts with SCVMM
3. It is expected to include at least of one host with the trusted host and these hosts can reside
within their domain.
4. It is expected to store at least one virtual machine with the SCVMM library.
5. It is expected to relocate a virtual machine with one host to other hosts.
6. It is expected to configure the virtual network for allowing their communication.
PROCEDURES AND STEPS
We have 2 hosts where we have installed windows server 2012 R2 and enabled Hyper-V role on
those servers. We have installed and introduced domain controller on one virtual machine. We
have made an additional two virtual machines for SQL server and SCVMM server. The SQL
server installed on one virtual machine and this SQL server is utilized for SCVMM database.

INSTALLATION OF SCVMM SERVER
We have installed windows server 2012 R2 on one virtual machine which situated on host2. We
required to install Win ADK 8.1 on to virtual machine.
We will accomplish our target (Placing the SQL server utilized by SCVMM on a machine that
doesn't work the VMM administration.) in this SCVMM installation.
Step 1: Start installing by double-clicking on adksetup.exe
Step 2: Provided or set the path where Win ADK 8.1 needs to be installed.

Step 3: Select no and click next on CEIP dialog box.
Step 4: Accept the license agreement by clicking on Accept.
