Introduction
Yes chemist is an interdependence pharmacy group which offers medicines, medical care
and skincare beauty products to the customers. The purpose of developing the project
charter is to give the project sponsors an idea on why a specific project needs to be
designed and implemented. Victoria University Information System consultancy (VUISC) is
assigned to design and develop a SAP S/4HANA system for Yes chemist to ensure its
improved business efficiency and business structure as well. The chemist organization offers
their products in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Adelaide in Australia. After reviewing the
functional and operational activity of the company it is identified that, the technical structure
of the company in terms of HR, financial, inventory, accounting operations are failing to
operate successfully. If SAP S/4HANA is implemented in Yes chemist then theses
operational issues can get resolves. The Customer Relationship Management System and
the Supply Chain Management Structure of the company can get improved a lot with this
collaboration.
The project plan is created to identify timeline, budget, resources and expected quality that
Yes chemist can reach after successful accomplishment of the SAP S/4HANA SYSTEM. Not
only this but also the project charter includes project summary details along with project
requirements, major deliverables of the project, brief schedule, key cost estimated and
quality assurance components as well. Besides quality attributes, duration for project
implementation and aspects that authorizes the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA are
also elaborated in this report.
Project scope
Project aim
The scope of the project is to implement SAP/S/4HANA in Yes chemist by VUISC following
different project development aspects and resources. The project has to be implemented
following the issues that the Yes Chemist is facing throughout. Before designing and
planning the SAP system the operational issues that the company is facing must be
analysed. It will give commercial excellence and competitive advantages to the pharmacy
group.
Objectives
 To design and implement the SAP S/4HANA in the budget of $150,000 and time of 6
months
 To integrate the operational process such as HR, inventory, accounting, finance
structure together
 To develop the SAP system based on the functional risks Yes chemist is facing
Major deliverable of the project
The major deliverable of the project is to renovate the exiting server room with virtual server
and advanced IT infrastructure including and hardware and software element installation.
Before implementing the final system the business project model of the company should be
analysed through “As Is and To Be” structure analysis. In order to improve the business
process quality of Ye Chemist advanced training program also needs to be delivered.
