Introduction
This report depicts the role of project management prcatices and importance of project
development phases for successful implementation of project. Yes Chemist Pty Ltd is
currently facing major challenges with their functional and operational activities. The
company has appointed Victoria University Information Systems Consulting (VUISC) to
develop SAP system for managing their business processes. SAP will be able to manage all
their business processes in terms of accounting, human resources and purchase as well. In
other words, the SAP will give an integrated service to the company. The project is about
implementation of the SAP S/4HANA system in Yes Chemist. The SAP version that the
company will implement is S/4HANA. Yes Chemist is an independent pharmacy which
believes in common and shared business philosophy.
The company offers beauty and health needs and pharmaceutical operation to their
consumers. The project plan is comprises of six milestones and different activities. After
analysing the details of project requirements and consumers demand it has been determined
that the project needs to be successfully accomplished within the budget if $150,000 with a
fixed cost of $15,000 for modification.
Project scope
The Yes Chemist Pty Ltd is facing major operational challenges in their business processes.
In order to resolve theses operational issues the Yes Chemist has consulted with the VISCU
about the implementation of SAP S/4HANA system in their company. The aim of the
company is to implement the SAP system in their company to manage financial transaction,
product life cycle and also supply chain activities as well. The major deliverable of the project
is to implement SAP S/4HANA system to successfully integrate all the business processes.
The details objectives of this project are as follows:
To implement SAP ERP system to integrate all the business processes successfully
To design and develop a much comprehensive project plan to establish a better
relationship between clients and the service providers
To identify and resolve all the challenges that the company was throughout facing
In addition to this, the required quality standards are also considered those will be accepted
by the clients in the below table:

To replace the current inventory, HR, finance and other accounting approaches of Yes
Chemist Pvt Ltd
To implement a detail design structure and make sure that the head office server room
is successfully expanding
To estimate the project budget and time required for successful implementation of the

To design an accurate virtual server for the system
Business case
The Yes Chemist Pty Ltd is these days suffering from severe operational and functional
errors. The other issues they are facing with the data management. In order to manage
those large set of data the company is suggested to adopt an Information System (IS) to
improve the business efficiency. With the help of the SAP the company would be able to
avail different benefits. The three expected benefits from the system are as follows:
