Use of Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter have transformed business culture in almost all organizations (Turban,Bolloju,Liang,2011).Generally, the current world is under the control of social media. There are a lot of social media platforms which tend to affect workplace both positive and negative. Accepting the use of social media in the workplace help to realize the vision and the mission of the organization. The following two sources shows why social media need to be accepted in workplace. Basically, social media is changing from time to time. This means that managers are now appreciating the use of social media in the entire organization. When the entire organization is unwilling to use the social media then employees are on the first line using and appreciating all aspects induced by social media (Vaast & Kaganer, 2013).When employees use platforms such as Facebook to comment on the progress of the business they tend to reveal what they have experienced. Through the use of the information uploaded by the workers then it will be good for those who wish to apply for the same position in the workplace. In addition, clients and customers are in the position to view the progress of the business through the use of social media. Social media has facilitated access to feedback from customers thus enabling workplace to initiate policies conforming to the feedback received from the workforce.
