Question 1
TCP/IP protocol is part of networking protocol which uses various kinds of
layers including network access, internet connections, transport layer and
application layer. This section mainly focuses on the IP and network access
layer used in the TCP protocol [1]. IP is defined as the internet protocol
layer which is the 2nd layer of the TCP/IP framework which packs signals
into small packets (IP datagrams) that involve both source and receiver.
While network access is the first layer of TCP/IP protocol which is able to
define how data is transmitted through computing networks and devices.
As compared with the IP layer network access layer is more effective for
performing data transmission over the internet and also provide complete
information about communication systems [2]. It is observed that the major
protocols involved in the IP layer are IP, ARP, ICMP and RARP but in the
context of network access layer included protocols are Token ring, frame
relay and Ethernet [3]. The major aim of the IP layer is to manage layers in
an effective manner for providing proper network operations to the model
while the network access layer is used to manage the communication
between the source and destination. In the case of the network access layer,
all relevant information including source, destination and communication
channels used in the systems are emended in an appropriate manner. But,
in the IP layer, the information of data packets along with the logical
addresses are embedded that help the consumers for performing data
transmission.
Question 2
As per the provided information, the French and Chinese PMs require to
come to an agreement by the telephonic system and both PMs have
translators for performing data communication over the networks. In order
to understand and evaluate the provided case a connection diagram can be

involved which include telephonic systems and connections between both
PMs which are given below:
It is stated that when French PM transfer data to the telephonic system
then he transmits his comments to the PM of China. For completing the
data transmission process both PMs have a telephonic system which able to
perform communication between the networks. However, the French prime
minister has an English translator which convert signs into English and
send to the Chinese PM that also uses a translator based system for
converting signals into china language. Therefore, for performing
communication translator plays a major contribution which helps for
sending or receiving data over the networks.
