Introduction
Work based experience is the strategy that supports an individual to experience real life skills
and abilities as well as develop their employability factors. Entire report will be based on
learning experience that includes selection of suitable experience for gaining working
experience, proposal as well as identification of business constraints that are experienced at the
time of work experience. It will also support to understand the necessity of placement with an
emphasize on priorities of task, as well as benefits of work experience to both learners and the
organization. Systematic records, codes of practice will also be identified in the report so that
further improvements can be suggested. Last task of the report will focus on evaluation of own
learning experience while working in Hotel Hilton.

LO1
P 1.1 research and evaluate suitable organisations that could provide industry experience
To choose suitable organization for gaining work based experience, it is important to identify the
growing sector that could provide better industry experience in present and future. Reason for
choosing hospitality sector is that it is one of the fastest growing sectors and provides large
number of employment opportunities varied from lower level to top management (Jaworski and
Kohli, 2017). After conducting research I have chosen Hotel Hilton as well as Hotel Premiere
Inn for placement purpose.
Hotel Hilton
Location: London
Role: Corporate security officer
Working hours: 9 hours
Pay Scale: £ 3000 per month
Hotel Premiere Inn
Location: London
Role: Corporate security officer
Working hours: 12 hours
Pay Scale: £ 2500 per month
Both the organizations operate with wide range of operations and services and provide
professional development because of their international presence. Hospitality sector exist with
wide range of areas to gain the industry experience in an appropriate manner.
Room Management: It is the area which provides supportive information related to management
of room occupancy as well as capacity of revenue generation. This is one of the most challenging
tasks for managers and hotel executives to manage the room occupancy so that maximum of
revenue can be generated.
