INTRODUCTION
Working with leading people states that organisation needs person or management
who can manage business function effectively. The report will outline the documentation of
recruitment and selection process implanted by Purple Mail Company to enhance its
recruitment process. PM Company is the leading courier organisation who has been
continuously failing to manage effectiveness of services. The report will outline the
leadership and management practices which will assist the firm in enhance its business
process.
TASK 1
1.1 The documentation towards selection and recruitment process.
The foremost duty of HR will be to prepare effective documentation which will
demonstrate the process and effectiveness of recruiting new employees. The documentation
for recruitment and selection is as follows:
Recruitment approval: In this step the manager will focus on taking prior
permission on recruitment process from higher authority. In this the person is
responsible for giving valid reason for all job vacancy and requirement. Further, in
this professional will send draft to top level management which will comprise job
descriptions, advertising and selection criteria in which the manger will judge the
skills and capabilities of candidate (De Vries, Bakker-Pieper, and Oostenveld, 2010).
Job description: In this step, the professional will analyses the job profile and its
descriptions which will be provided on advertising. Moreover, it is the duty of HR to
ensure that in description the person is liable to involve the job profile, work, skills
required and position.
Advertisement: It is the key driver of of recruitment process where the firm launches
its advertisement about job vacancy on channels like, electronic media, online, social
media, websites etc.
