1. Reviewing the scenario
The scenario presented provides an analysis of the conditions that are present in JKL
industries. One of the changes that the industry has implicated is the selling of medium to
large truck from oversees supplier. Consequently the sales result has indicated a growth in the
forklift and truck. At the same time the aim is to build a positive organisational culture that
can be used to make effective communication and provide managers and employees with
information to perform work responsibilities. The communication issue that has been
identified in the company is that it lacks quick responses and has ineffective modern
communication. Hence, the role of the communications consultant is to ensure that senior
management team need to be made excited about the changes that need to be brought about.
This can help in maintaining effective communication in the industry and at the same time
address any organisational issues that may exist. Hence, motivation of the senior management
team is required.
2. Reviewing JKL industries
JKL industries is an Australian owned company that sells forklifts, small trucks and
spare parts to organisation that require it. The company also consist of a division that leases
forklifts as well as small trucks. The company is situated in Sydney but has branches all over
the country. The aim and objective of JKL industries is to gain a competitive advantage and
become the leaders in the market. At the same time it is also necessary to increase the profit
of the company so that it can provide its employees with the deserved recognition for the
effort. One of the areas in which JKL industries lacks its expertise is the ability to maintain
proper communication between the companies. The lack of encouragement from the senior
managers also plays a crucial role in the development of the company. The major
