INTRODUCTION
It is significant to increase understanding by the person to execute work within organisation,
working can also offer independence & monitor life. When person execute its work, their focus
is on learning new things, getting competence, making new friends, offer contribution in respect
of community. In this assignment, the company is taken as TESCO. It is determined as a biggest
supermarket chain that offers various types of products and services to its customers for fulfilling
its need. In this report, there is an explanation in respect of motivation and various element that
is used in influencing staff member and offer discussion in respect of positive as well as negative
experience & assess positive factor experience by subordinate in its job and strategy adopted to
deal with these type of negative element which is experienced by subordinate is given in
assignment (Choand De Moya, 2016).
MAIN BODY
Motivation
Motivation is considered as a process that offer guidance and also handles goal-oriented
behaviour. Motivation involves emotional, cognitive, social forces that activate behaviour.
Therefore, the motivation is used to influence subordinate of company which help in executing
work in appropriate manner. In addition to this , the motivation is determined as a primal factors
that influence the person to offer superior level of performance that help in achieving goal in
timely manner. The superior motivation assists in increasing output of staff member but the
negative motivation decreases level of performance that enforces negative impact on success and
growth of business organisation. The selected company emphasizes on influencing staff member
for retaining them for a longer time period. Motivation is considered as a term which is used for
defining or explaining how leader influence subordinate in order to execute work in proper
manner. And, the motivation helps in boosting level of performance of subordinate during the
period of time.
Maslow Hierarchy motivation theory
The Maslow hierarchy model was provided by Abraham Maslow through which they
analyse requirement of person at particular point. It helps in assessing positivity related to need
