Purpose of the Project Charter
The charter aims in discussing the implementation approach along with the the
implementation needs of installation of SAP S/4HANA for SAP Business All-in-One in
an organization named Yes Chemist. The report provides an idea of the operational
needs associated with the implementation of the SAP within an organization.
Development of a project charter is integral as it helps the decision makers to decide
whether the project is feasible or not. The project charter will provide the details of the
schedule of the project and the cost estimation to implement the project. This is a
complex project and therefore, development of a detailed project charter is necessary.
Project Summary
A project of installation of SAP in Yes chemist is proposed. The organization
mainly works for providing health and beauty needs to the customers. However, the
organization is in need of reducing their operational weakness by improving their
business. Based on the review recommendations of the General Manager, it is
recommended that the existing accounting systems needs improvement. SAP S/4HANA
for SAP Business All-in-One is to be developed for Yes chemist in order to manage the
finance, HR, procurement and the analytics modules of the system. The project
therefore involves installation of the new hardware and the software systems to ensure
that all the business processes related to Yes chemist are integrated in a successful
manner. The project will ensure installation of the SAP S/4HANA for SAP Business All-
in-One in the organization, Yes chemist and will further involve training the staffs about

the new system. The following section of the project charter highlights the project
requirements and the major deliverables associated with the project.
Project Requirements
This section of the charter will outline the major requirements related to the
project. This project is a complex project considering the fact that the project aims in
elimination of all the operational weaknesses of the system to be developed. The
specifications along with the requirements of the proposed project are as follows-
1. One of the major requirements of the project is preparation of the server
rooms and for that the contractor Jacob and Sons Pty Ltd is chosen.
2. The project involves purchasing of the HP server hardware from Frontline
hardware reseller.
3. The proposed project is associated with effective data conversion. The data
conversion process involves legacy data extraction, conversion and validation of the
SAP Instance. It is expected that the entire data conversion will take four weeks to
complete.
4. The proposed project involves integration and testing of the modules
developed. This is an important project requirement as the system is needed to be
integrated with an e-gate feature associated with corporate banking.
5. Finally, the entire project is needed to be documented and the staffs are
needed to be trained about the new system that is being implemented. In order to

provide the training, a training officer will be hired who the help the staffs and workers of
the yes chemist to get accustomed to the new system.
