Consider the role of followers and how they are influenced by managers?
Followers play an imperative role in leadership. For the manager as well as a leader to be
imperative, there has an individual that is not busy creating the new path. It is also found that the
followers could reflect the team leader's uses caused by manifesting the culture
(Nanjundeswaraswamy and Swamy, 2014). From my experience, I found that sometimes a
leader has authority but due to lack of suitable skills they are unable to use their authority
effectively which could negative impact on the followers. I realized that my leader used an
autocratic leadership style but he imposed everything on the followers that make a negative
image of the leader among followers. In addition, it is illustrated that the autocratic leader has the
capability to complete their task to its followers by entailing the power. I also found that this
kind of action failed to manage follower behaviors.
I also observed if a leader is directly communicating with teammates then they would directly
share their opinion with the team leader an make an effective conclusion towards the specific
matter. It is also examined that if the leaders use the democratic leadership style then they would
be able to give equal value to the opinion and views of the participants along with forcing them
to participate in the team freely. This leadership style support to influence the number of people
(Cameron, et al. 2014). From the application of this style the team leader also be able to make an
effective conclusion towards the matter.
It is also examined that the collaboration between leaders as well as followers could empower
both achieve any goal in the least time. The collaboration could make a link between followers
as well as the team leader in meeting the organizational task (Grint, et al. 2016). This act could
enhance the possibility of success. It is examined that collaboration is a procedure wherein two
or more people mutually work on one task with each other in achieving any particular group. It
