INTRODUCTIONEmployability skills refers to essential abilities that includes knowledge, expertise level,and mindset that is required for achieving success in modern workplace. These are importantqualifications for particular job position and necessary for bringing efficiency and effectivenessin performance. NHS is an public health care institution situated in England. This organisationprovides services like dental treatment, optical care, mental health etc. It has around 1.6 millionemployees. This report is about employability skills required for an health care professional. It wincludes analysis of responsibilities and performance objectives required and ways in which itcan be made effective. Motivational techniques to improve quality of performance and timemanagement skills will be discussed. Team dynamics for health and social care is another keyfocus of this report. Methods in which problems related with work place can be identified andways to overcome these issues will be discussed in this study. TASK 11.1 Prepare set of own responsibilities and performance objectivesOwn responsibilities and performance objectives are related with self management ofhealth care professionals. It refers to ability of individuals to give best outcome in their job. Thishelps individuals to determine their personal capabilities and assess own strengths andweaknesses. It is very important for NHS to achieve competitive advantages. As an health careprofessional, I need to perform following responsibilities-Diagnose and treat patients- I must treat patients attentively by updating my scientificinformation and treat them in right way. It is required to prescribe right medicine and tell themadvantages, disadvantages and risk related with proposed treatment. Provide information- I should explain risk factors and chances of failure of suggestedtreatment, so that patients can take decision properly. It is necessary to inform them aboutpositive and negative impacts of direction. Respect confidentiality- Professional secrecy is one of the major responsibility in this jobrole. I cannot reveal personal information provide by patients as it is against the law. It can bedone only if there is fair reason and consent of patients has been taken. 1

This isthe reason why it is necessary to keep them informed and provide every information about healthand treatment they are getting.
