Servant leadership is important as this makes the leaders serve the subordinates. The
mission and the vision statements are important to be achieved thus. It is important that the
leader provides all forms of facilities to the subordinates that actually help to make the process of
the achievement of goals easier.
Transformational leadership helps to align the skills of the people involved with the

In addition to the leadership methods discussed above, the leaders running an
organization must adhere to the legislation, codes or bylaws that controls and manages the
working of the same. In this regard, legislations like Work Health and Safety Act 2001 can be
referred. It enumerates the provisions to ensure the safety, health as well as welfare of the
workers in an organization. Moreover it also gives protection to the health and safety of every
person who can also be affected by the work of the organization. Hence this Act provides safety
and protection to the general public.
In this regard, Code of Practice on first aid in the workplace can be referred which
denotes a code of practice as per section 274 of the said Act. Any person conducting a business
is required to follow the Code. One of the most important duties of an organization is to provide
effective first aid immediately to the workers or any other person who gets injured or falls sick in

record and other factors. In Australia, discrimination on the basis of above mentioned various
factors is unlawful and various legislation have been enacted like Age Discrimination Act 2004,
Disability Discrimination Act 1992, Racial Discrimination Act 1975 and Sex Discrimination Act
1984.
If in any workplace, any person is subjected to discrimination regarding age he can seek
relief by referring to the Age Discrimination Act 2004. This Act provides strict penalties to be
imposed on those committing discrimination on the basis of age. Thus, employers as well as
others involved in the workplace committed discrimination on disability, race or sex will said to
commit breach of provisions enumerated in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, Racial
Discrimination Act 1975 and Sex Discrimination Act 1984.
The mission statement is the statement of the path of development that the organization
