The respective report is based on Rafayel Hotel & Spa and aims to identify the importance of training as well as development in implementing advanced technologies. The hotel is of four floors and offers different types of rooms as per the preferences of the customers. In order to complete this research, the researcher has used deductive approach and primary data collection method such as a questionnaire has been used. The rationale behind undertaking this study is to enhance the existing knowledge of the readers regarding the importance of training and development in the company. Also, the company will be able to develop better training strategies for its employees. Research Aim “To identify the significance of training and development in implementing advanced technologies”. A case of study Rafayel Hotel & Spa. Research objectives To identify the strategies, theories, and kinds of training. To determine the role of training and development within an organization. To find out types of training that enable workers in implementing advanced technologies in Rafayel Hotel & Spa. What are the major roles of training and development in the context of an organization? What types of training enable workers in implementing advanced technologies?
What kind of challenges may be faced by the company while providing training regarding the advanced technologies to the workers? The approach which has been used in the project is deductive approach. As of the research tool, a questionnaire has been used to collect the data for data analysis. The researcher has ensured that a proper structure has been followed for the research(Bell and et.al., 2017). The report is divided into six chapters wherein the first chapter will include an introduction about the research topic and will explain the research aim as well as objectives. The next chapter, Literature Review will provide a discussion about the research questions. The chapters further to this will provide an explanation about the methods that have been used in the research and an analysis of the same. Lastly, the findings of the study as well as a conclusion will also be included in the study. Chapter 2: Literature Review A literature review section in the research, evaluates surveys books, scholarly articles, and any other assets applicable to a selected difficulty, area of research, or concept, and with the aid of so doing, gives a description, precis, and crucial evaluation of these works when it comes to the studies trouble being investigated. When the training needs are identified, they should be prioritized. As a result, appropriate type of training is provided and thus, the
employees are able to work productively. Apart from this, there are also different theories of training and development that an organization can implement at its workplace. The different challenges are explained below – Lack of employee engagement –This is one of the challenges that the company can face while implementing advanced technology(Dehghansai and et.al., 2017). It is important that the managers of the company to encourage the engagement of employees in order to ensure that they are comfortable in working with each other. There can be some employees who might show resistance during the training process. Due to this, they are not able to focus on their work and as a result, there is a lack of alignment within the company. Challenges of Regulations –Introduction of new technology involves the requirement of adhering to new rules as well as regulations. This is a major challenge as it can lead to an increase in the overall rate of turnover as well as the productivity of the employees(Taufek and Mustafa, 2018). This is because they might not be comfortable in adapting themselves to the new regulations. Also, the employees might find it hard to adapt themselves to adapt themselves in using latest technology as its new. obtained an informed consent from the respondents, has maintained anonymity, kept the details of the participants confidential and safe. These issues will be resolved by the research by ensuring that the data collected from the respondents is kept confidential and anonymous. Data Analysis –Data analysis is an important component of the research and involves the researcher to analyze the data that has been collected. Effective analysis of the data helps the researcher in obtaining valid and accurate results. In context to this research, quantitative data has been collected and it will be analyzed using the frequency distribution table(Messina and et.al., 2018). This will help the researcher in completing the research effectively and well within the time frame. In order to make graphs, MS-Excel has been used as this will help in presenting the information in a pictorial form. Time Frame –The time frame is an important part of the research because it helps the researcher in completing their research within the intended time frame(Noe and Kodwani, 2018). A Gantt Chart is an important tool that is used to present the time frame of the different tasks in a research. It Is important that the researcher completes their research within the specified time frame so as to avoid any delays in the submission.
