Abstract
Advancements in technology have made it important for organizations to provide
effective training to their employees. Effective training and development opportunities ensure
that there is an increase in the overall productivity of the company and also, there is a reduction
in the overall level of turnover for the organization. It is important to identify the need for
training and therefore, develop effective strategies to provide training to the employees.

Summary
Training and development play an important role within an organization and promote a
sense of teamwork among the employees. It is important to identify the learning needs of the
employees, especially when advanced technology is implemented at the workplace. there are two
types of training, on the job as well as off the job training that can be implemented as per the
requirement at the workplace. It can be said that effective training and development helps in
improving the overall performance of the company, thereby enabling it to attain its goals as well
as objectives. Therefore, it can be said that proper training should be conducted for the
employees so that they are able to acquire new skills and enhance their knowledge at the same
time.

Chapter 1: Introduction
The project aims to identify the significance of training and development in
implementing advanced technologies at workplace. Training and development are important
components within an organization as they help the employees to develop new skills and
enhance their existing knowledge (Al Karim, 2019). The main aim of an organization behind
conducting training and development is to ensure that the employees are able to perform
effectively and that their overall productivity is also improved. Organizations provide training
not only to the new employees, but also to their existing employees to attain goals and
objectives. The respective report is based on Rafayel Hotel & Spa and aims to identify the
importance of training as well as development in implementing advanced technologies. The hotel
is of four floors and offers different types of rooms as per the preferences of the customers. In
order to complete this research, the researcher has used deductive approach and primary data
collection method such as a questionnaire has been used. The rationale behind undertaking this
study is to enhance the existing knowledge of the readers regarding the importance of training
and development in the company. Also, the company will be able to develop better training
strategies for its employees.

technologies to its employees.

What are the strategies, theories, and kinds of training?
What are the major roles of training and development in the context of an organization?
What types of training enable workers in implementing advanced technologies?

What kind of challenges may be faced by the company while providing training
regarding the advanced technologies to the workers?
The approach which has been used in the project is deductive approach. As of the
research tool, a questionnaire has been used to collect the data for data analysis. The researcher
has ensured that a proper structure has been followed for the research (Bell and et.al., 2017). The
report is divided into six chapters wherein the first chapter will include an introduction about the
research topic and will explain the research aim as well as objectives. The next chapter,
Literature Review will provide a discussion about the research questions. The chapters further to
this will provide an explanation about the methods that have been used in the research and an
analysis of the same. Lastly, the findings of the study as well as a conclusion will also be
included in the study.
Chapter 2: Literature Review
A literature review section in the research, evaluates surveys books, scholarly articles,
and any other assets applicable to a selected difficulty, area of research, or concept, and with the
aid of so doing, gives a description, precis, and crucial evaluation of these works when it comes
to the studies trouble being investigated.
Strategies, theories, and kinds of training
As per the viewpoint of Smriti Chand, training refers to the different learning activities
that are carried out within an organization with the primary aim of helping the employees
develop new skills, enhance their existing knowledge and apply the same to their jobs to attain
organizational goals (Training: Meaning, Definition and Types of Training, 2021). There are
different strategies of training that an organization can implement depending on the situation at
the workplace. Similarly, there are also different theories as well as types of training that can be
provided to the employees in the workplace. this is important because they help the employees to
learn new skills and implement the same to perform effectively (Bharwani, Kline and Patterson,
2017). Some of the main strategies include identifying the gaps in skills and accordingly
planning training sessions for the employees. The managers or team leaders within the company
must analyze the needs of the employees. This is important because it helps in addressing the
training needs of the employees in an effective manner. When the training needs are identified,
they should be prioritized. As a result, appropriate type of training is provided and thus, the
