Summary
Canadian Cancer society is a national, community based charitable organisation of the
volunteers whose mission begins with eradicate cancer and also to enhance the quality of life
of those people who are majorly suffering from this disease. This organisation is considered
as the Canada’s largest national cancer charity with the largest national charitable funder of
cancer research that is based in Canada since the year 1938 (Canadian Cancer society, 2019).
The organisation believes that the working along with the government as well as with the
legislators to bring about the healthy policies of the public is considered as one of essential
section of the flight in against of cancer as disease (Canadian Cancer society, 2019).
The aim of report is to explore about the company with the help of the different elements that
include SWOT analysis that remains essential for company for formulating strategies.
Further, the report includes the analysis of the different environmental constraints that
influence the working within the market. The key stakeholders of the company are also
analysed in the market. The structures and design of the Canadian Cancer society are
mentioned which through the light on the top level management of company. The employees
of the company are considered as an important element due to which the company need to
take the required steps with the help of which they can motivate the employees within the
organisation. In the end, the recommendations have been offered to the company based on
research.

SWOT Analysis
SWOT analysis is a study that is conducted for Canadian Cancer society with the motive to
determine the strengths as well as weaknesses along with the opportunities and threats based
on the Part 1.
Strengths
The strong brand name is strength of the company which is the utilized by the company as
this strength leads to rise in goodwill due to which maximum people like to get associated
with the company. The goodwill as well as efficiency of work contributes in completing their
mission that is to raise the funds through charity.
Another strength that is considered include track record of advancement in terms of the
voluntary support which means they get the high support from the volunteer. CCS takes the
advantage as they organize diverse events majorly for generating the awareness as well as
fundraising events within the country (Canadian Cancer society, 2019). The support of the
volunteer is utilized effectively in diverse collection programs, assisting campaigns of
advocacy and many others.
Weaknesses
Some of the weaknesses that have been identified in the previous assessment include poor
management of investment, investing time on raising funds and many others. These
weaknesses are required to be protected. The investment can be managed by the company
with the effective utilization of the volunteer for determining the areas where there is need of
the improvement (Canadian Cancer society, 2019). Along with this, the volunteer can also
provide the support to company in order to raise funds in effective manner by taking the
support from different communities.
