2EMPLOYABILITY SKILLSJournal entry 1: Know Yourself Gallup developments basics are associated with own development and one is successfulfor they who they are. This principle is similar to embark on strengths and the development.Gallup test is personality assessment with a positive focus. One cannot be successful alone andafter testing the Gallup development test, I have understood my strengths. The first strength isthat I am a developer and it will help me in building a relationship with another person. I will bein event management career so that developer criterion helps me to build a dominant relationshipto be able to hold a team together. This ability makes a team greater than the sum of its part. Thestrength of me is that I believe in discipline and it is categorised as influencing theme. In thediscipline criterion, it will make me know how to take charge, make sure the team knows themessage and speak up towards the team. The following discipline in life would eventually helpme in achieving my dream. In event and entertainment management career it is very important toknow how to deal a team (Rigoni and Asplund 2016). Competition strength of me helps me toinfluence my team members as strength can be considered as possibilities to explore theopportunities. In competition analysis, I will seek the advice of others from my team members sothat it will help me in career progression. Analytical strength falls into the category of strategicthinking. Strategic thinking of me can help my team in event management to consider what couldbe the result of new innovation. I will analyse and absorb the information so that it can informthe better decisions. Last strength of me is responsibility and this strength is associated with theexecuting category and people who believe in executing themes know the process to manipulateothers. This strength of mine can help me to make the things happen in critical condition of mycareer.
