Introduction Automation in the workplace refers to the use of technology or machines in the easily repetitive or replicated tasks in order to minimize the use of human labour. In past times the automation system was really expensive and requires a team of experts which can handle the automation which makes the automation out of reach of small companies which does not have huge amount of costs to invest in automation but in today’s world automation does not require huge investments or team of experts which makes it suitable even for small organization. Main body I am working as a manager in the human resource department of a reputed firm. It is important for me to make sure that the employees of the company are satisfied and the company is also having a continuous supply of the talented workforce. Three automation systems in workplace that I m using right now are given below: Breezy HR: Currently I am using this platform to make the hiring and searching of talented process automatic. It is important for me to make sure that the company is having a continuous supply of talented workforce in the company. The Breezy HR application is a automation hiring tool that can read through resumes real quick and quickly identify the candidates that can suit the organization from thousands of resumes. Pros:It is a high performance analysis tool for resume and evaluates resumes using artificial intelligence which makes sure that their is no scope for mistake. It is simple to track the references that can be helpful for the HR as the only thing that is needed is the contact information which is present on the platform. It helps the company in identifying the best performance employees that are needed to be promoted for the benefits of the company. Cons:The platform is not attached through any API system or any administrative system which can makes it better and more useful in identifying jobs. atSpoke:One of the most beneficial application that I am currently using is atSpoke which is an employee help desk support system. These are the Chat-boats that are not only limited to the customers request. atSpoke helps the company in answering internal questions to the employees such as WiFi password, leaves, etc. Employees can send requests to the application via email or SMS and the application will send the reply automatically so that the management does not have
to answer the questions. The system is very helpful for me as I don’t have to answers the same questions repeatedly and I can make sure that the employees of the company are not suffering for small details. Pros:It is an amazing application as I do not have to answer same questions again and again to the employees and will saves my time. The application makes sure that the employees are more strategic and are not wasting time in getting replies, they can ask the question and get the answers right away which saves their time as well. Cons:It has a time consuming implementation period and the employees may take some time to get use to the software and may require training in order to become effective with the software. It involves a slightly high cost as compared to shared inboxes tools such as spreadsheets, file system, etc. eMaint:Iamusingthisapplicationasthisapplicationisforfillingtheonlineforms automatically. The application is also helpful in resetting the forgotten passwords easily. I like the fact that the system has its own vault which makes the passwords more safer. It is a completely safe application which helps me in filling online forms securely and automatically. It make sure that the passwords are stored in a locally encrypted password protected vault. It saves my mental bandwidth for the other stuff that is high on my priority list. Pros:This system is a web based system so they are not dependent on latency. The system has competitive licensing scheme. The marketing strategy of the company is highly efficient and will make sure that the company buy the product/ system. Cons:Their is a continuous friction between the marketing team and the implementation team. The system foes not have QR code functionality which makes it a less feasible. Sometimes the system does not work which serves as a disadvantage in the functionality of the system.
