INTRODUCTION
In last few years' globalization have become centring point of all businesses, it makes
essential impact on almost each and every thing from society to environment, transfer of
knowledge and information, technology, living status and life of people and culture but most
generally businesses and economy (Crane and Matten, 2016). All the companies have responded
to these modifications quickly, this act as channel for penetration into new markets, for growth,
building a broad rage of consumer's pool. Globalization is the procedure by which organizations
or other businesses develop global influence or beginning operating on the international scale. In
short, globalisation is how nations is coming together as one big worldwide economy, making
global trade easier. There are many nations agreed to low tariffs or taxes on products that is
imported from other nations. Global movement towards financial, communications integration
and economic is term of globalisation, it implied begging of nationalistic and local perspectives
to the wide outlook of the interdependent and interconnected world with escaped transfer of
goods, capital and services across countries frontiers. Political, economic and social globalisation
are the three different types of globalisation. Every company need to follow ethics or norms
within this procedure that help to gain positive impact on each operations effectively. There are
many ethics principles within global business that affect company operation the most.

Aim:
I should investigate the positive ethical impact of globalisation on operations in the retail
clothing industry
Objectives:
 To Investigate the economic, cultural and ethical benefits of globalisation. *
 To Determine the impact of globalisation on retail fashion.
 To Collect and analyse primary and secondary data relating to the benefits of
globalisation on Topshop Plc.
 To present findings about the effect of globalisation at Topshop Plc and the wider retail
fashion industry. The research questions-examples.

Question:
 What are economic, cultural and ethical benefits of globalisation?
 What is the impact of globalisation on retail fashion?
 What are the benefits of globalisation on marketing at Topshop Plc ?
Overview of company-
Topshop Plc is British international brand or fashion retailer of shoes, clothing,
accessories and make up. They have across 500 shops around the world in which 300 shops is in
UK, in additional they operate online operations in range of their market which help to make
them more popular (Kain and Sharma, 2014). Arcadia Group and Leonard Green and Partners is
the owner of Topshop company, founded in 1964. They face many challenges within the period
of business growth, as organization has been criticised for its overall tax arrangements and
sourcing policies. Still, they try hard and perform effectively by facing many challenges and
build their high position in market place. They start planning to expand their business in US
where they open new shops and tipped to open in New York. In 2011, company announced the
five year international business expansion plan.

Project management plan is authorized, formal document used to manage task or project
execution, it defines how project is monitored, executed and controlled. Purpose of PMP is the
document that is use by everyone included with project to support communicate and detail data
and describe procedure that project will undertake. Function of PMP is the written document that
used by each of one include with project to help detail information and communication and
describe procedure that project will undertake. Project management plan covers aspects of cost,
time, scope, quality, risk, communication and resources
Cost- Cost is an amount that have to be given or paid up in order to get service and
products. Within accounting and business, it is monetary value that is spent by Topshop Plc in
order to buy something. The approximate total or sum project cost, is cost estimate it is used to
allow the project's manage and budget its cost. Estimators used outlined techniques to create cost
estimates that is used to assess financial feasibility of this project, professional reckoner. Fixed,
indirect, sunk, direct and variable are the five kind of costs in typical project. This project has
accomplished within the cost of £110 after covering all aspects.
Scope- Project scope management handle project scope activities it is a bunch of
procedure that assure project's scope appropriately mapped and defined. Project scope is part of
work planning that includes documenting and determining list of specific goals in project,
deliverables, tasks, deadlines, costs, features, ultimately cost and functions. Project scope is what
needs to be increase and activity that must be done to deliver the project. Great project scope
example is the effectual tool or ways usually used in project management. This project helps to
understand the positive ethical impact of globalisation on company operation such as Marketing.
Time- Time is the most vital part of project management plan, it defines as components
of all over project management in which the timelines is developed and analysed for completion
of work or deliverable. Duration is entire Timeline which takes to execute the project measured
in work hours, days or week. This project takes 20 days to complete.

Quality- It is defined as services or products that has capability to work satisfactory and
is appropriate for their company intended purpose. The project quality can be assure if
deliverable is right and free of defects and focus on quality from starting to end of project. The
quality of this project is good which assure through tracking mistakes and organize quality
circles.
Communication- Communication is key in PMP (Project management plan) it is the best
way to collect information and relevant data about chosen topic. With the helps of internet and
phones collecting information from Topshop is easy. It is the simple action of transferring and
gathering information from one place, group of other and person. It is best define as transferring
of information and expression of thoughts, ideas and feeling by using other techniques and
words. In project management plan, has effective communication is very essential as it helps to
work on time effectively.
Risk- Risk refers to the situation involving exposure to danger, it defines as the uncertain
condition or event that occurs if it has negative and positive impact on project's goals and
objectives. Unappropriated data based on theme is one of the risk that make negative affect on
whole project and cannot give appropriate outcomes.
Resource- People, facilities, equipment, funds and anything else are included in
resources which has been used in this project management plan to accomplish. Appropriate
resources is required to carry out this project tasks. Labour, laptop, mobile phone, tools or
equipments needed based on work.

Gantt Chart- Gantt chart is a chart in which the program of horizontal lines reflects
number of work done or amount of production accomplished in certain time line in relation to
planned for those time periods. In simple words, Gantt chart is kind of bar chart that elaborate
the task schedule, it listed the tasks which has to be performed on vertical axis and time intervals
on horizontal axis. Width of horizontal parallel bars in chart reflects duration or time of each
activity. Gantt chart is used in project, it gives graphical illustration of schedule that support
plan, track and coordinate particular tasks in work.

Work breakdown structure (WBS) is the hierarchical tree structure that outlooks

P4 Research Methodology
Research methodology is one of the best procedure used to gather data and information of
chosen topic for purpose of making project decisions.
Research philosophy- RP is notion about ways in which information about phenomenon
will be gathered, used and analysed. Interpretivism and positivism are the two types of research
philosophy that used on project based on chosen theme (Bauer, 2014). Researcher used
interpretivism research philosophy which helps to get better and appropriate results. With the
support of this method or technique researcher interpret components of research project
accurately.
Research design- Research design defines the report type such as semi experimental,
review, descriptive, meta analytic and correlation. Sub type and research problem, independent,
experimental design, dependent and data collection methods if applicable included in design of
project or research. Quantitative, quasi-experimental, correlation, descriptive and experimental
are the types of research design (Choy, 2014). Researcher used descriptive research design in
research that helps researcher to observed unchanged and natural environment.
Data analysis- Data analysis is procedure of transforming, cleansing, inspecting and
modelling information with goal of discovering useful data, supporting decision taking and
informing conclusions. Quantitative and qualitative are the two types of process of data analysis,
each of the method have its own techniques (Walliman, 2017). Survey and experiments are
quantitative research and observations and interviews are kinds of qualitative research. In this
research researcher used qualitative research for data analysis.
Data sampling- It is statistical analysis method used to manipulate, select and analyse
representative subset of information points to identify trends and patterns in large data set being
examined. Random, multistage, cluster, systematic random sampling and simple random are the
five types of sampling methods. Simple random data sampling technique is used by researcher
in research to extract the sample from larger population (Vamsi Krishna Jasti and Kodali, 2014).
30 participates under organization has been chosen in this research project.

effect over company operations. Thus, they consider this as longer term procedure that put

think that the whole procedure carry many risk long within it that might be negative impact on
operations of company.

Interpretation: Marketing is the main source of increasing profit and generate customer

marketing as non effective procedure, according to these people it is not appropriate and required

feel that ethical marketing lower down the effectiveness of marketing plan in which some things
must be removed which is not appropriate for good marketing strategy.

This research project helps to improve and develop my skills, abilities and knowledge
more than before. With the help to investigation I can identify the effectiveness of ethical
principles of globalisation followed by company within its marketing operations. It is very
essential technique which support to increase profitability and productivity and also help ton
increase sales. This research helps to set the better outcomes and give effective results, I can
improve my skills and know who to set aims and objectives in research project. It supports to
develop new skills in context of gathering information and relevant data based on chosen topic
like The positive impact of globalisation on Topshop marketing operation.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded that qualitative research is very useful tool that help research to get
better outcomes. Project management plan included all the necessary tools and components that
supports to make appropriate plan includes cost of project, time required to complete project and
communication and timelines. Researcher used primary data collection methods that helps to
find out appropriate results related to chosen topic. Furthermore, with the help of interpretation it
is very easy to know more about the effectiveness of ethical norm of globalisation following by
company within its market function globally.
