two circumstances and at least two situations.
Circumstance is a fact or condition connected with what is happening or has happened. Situation is
the set of circumstances that exist at a particular time and place. A circumstance can be considered
as one condition, while a situation is a combination of many conditions.
For example, a new employee in the workplace is a circumstance, whereas the organisation facing
intense competition is a situation.
You will be assessed on your practical skills to:
In at least two circumstances and at least two situations, suitably adapt:
o your interpersonal style
Interpersonal style is the manner in which a person interacts with other people. A
person’s interpersonal style is driven by their personality, values, and the
environment the person lives and works in. Interpersonal style is also affected by the
styles of people you interact with.
o your leadership style
Leadership style is the approach a leader takes to make decisions, provide direction,

providing training to 15 clients. At that time, I realised that I am good in communication skill.
This skill helped me out in providing training to clients in an effective manner (Schmid Mast and
et.al., 2018). I believe that politeness and integrity is important and both these skills make us able
in providing betters services to others.
Leadership style: Leadership is a way of guiding others and in this regard I can say that
having leadership skills among gym trainers and other employees is important. Some leadership
skills that I possess include: communication, integrity, decision making, influencing and
motivation. On the basis of these skills, I found that democratic leadership and transformational
style can be suitable (Jan DeBell, 2019). In democratic style, as a leader we need to engage
employees in decision making process and taking suggestions for improving decision. Whereas,
in transformational, employees and clients are being encouraged to work for accomplishing their
goals. So, according to me, both of these styles can be suitable and can help this fitness centre in
accomplishing goals.
