INTRODUCTIONBusiness communication may be defined as sharing of information among the peoplewithin and also outside an enterprise which is performed for the commercial benefits of anenterprise. Business communication is a type of communication which is used to promote aproduct or service or an entire organization (Kernbach, Eppler and Bresciani, 2015). In thisreport, Sports Love is taken as an organization as per the given scenario which is facing poorcommunication problems in an organization. The report will further explain about principles andpurpose of HR directors need to be considered in communication strategy. In addition to thischaracteristics which participants must have as effective listener and effective speakers duringmeetings will also be explained in details.LITERATURE REVIEWPrinciples and purposes of communication strategyAccording to Thomas and Stephens, (2015) communication strategy is a business toolwhich helps an organisation to align their market business goals with the marketing plan. Byframing a communication strategy, an organisation can focus on reaching a set of predeterminedresults. A principle of communication strategy is that communication is not supplementary orcomplementary activity to the main work of the organization as no work can be done properlywithout having an effective communication strategy. A basic principle of communicationstrategy is to shape the mind-set of employees in the organization, to develop an understanding,positive attitudes, perception, etc. among employees to develop an effective communication. HRdirector has felt that an ineffective communication has resulted in poor performance of theemployees and having a negative impact on customers. So in this context all these strategies itsprinciple and purpose should be incorporated by HR of Sports Love so that they could ensureproper communication.As per the views of Ortiz, Region-Sebest and MacDermott, (2016) purpose ofcommunication strategy is that it lays out a plan regarding the way to handle different forms ofcommunication that are dispersed in the Sports Love. Purpose of designing a communicationstrategy is that it helps in addressing the problems and solving various problems at grass rootlevel by using effective communication methods, media and techniques. Communication strategyensures that a significant information of the Sports Love is dispersed to the right people1
