INTRODUCTION
Business ethics accountability and sustainability are key elements of success and growth
of any company. By conducting sustainable business practices, following ethics and fulfil
responsibilities toward society and consumers organizations can grow and drive their businesses
towards long term success. Ethical responsibilities of companies include behaviour of firms that
is expected by community but not codified in law. It also includes that any firm must be Eco-
friendly, they should always be aware of their activities & actions and how do they impact
environment. Beside with this, business sustainability is an important topic it considers as
management and coordination of social, environment, financial demands and concern of a
company to assure accountable, ethical & ongoing success.
The current study is based on Engineering Tooling company which falls under category
of the best engineering support provider firm, It is consumer focussed organization offering
design, manufacturing, service and products to buyers across United Kingdom. As suppliers of
personal protection equipment to clients across nation more than last four weeks they have been
capable to donate as well as deliver their accessible stock to front-line employees across
Scotland. The present report will explain how companywide quality improvement strategy in
chosen firm would introduce or use. It will also justify how improvement strategy will help firm
to sustain culture of quality. This assignment will describe TQM, quality assurance and quality
control implications for Engineering Tooling Company. All strategies will use in firm to improve
their production and other business operations in gain competitive advantages.

Introduce company-wide quality improvement strategy in context of ETC
Engineering Tooling company is set up by younger graduate and skilled engineer in
1960s. The increasing competition level from globalization and decline of engineering in North
east of England, put influence on firm. Company decided to improve the quality of their services
or products in effective manner for which they had to use the best and most effective strategies
which is quite beneficial for its business and consumers as well. Here, following strategies
introduced in ETC that can aid and support them to sustain culture of quality within overall
business practices.
Total quality management-

It is one of the best operations' management approaches use by companies to success
through continuous improvement within existing products or services (Akkoni and et.al., 2019).
Total quality management is describes as management method to long term success through
consumers' satisfaction. It can be introduced in Engineering Tooling company by encouraging
people to participate in improving procedures, goods, services and culture in which they work.
There are certain ways firm can use to implement or introduce this approach.
It is the first stage of introducing TQM approach, where overall situation of firm can be
analysed or assess in depth manner that is really very important. Relevant preconditions have to
do with firm history's, their current needs, precipitating functions leading to Total quality
management and current workers quality of working life. When current reality of company
include essential preconditions, TQM implementation can be successful. Furthermore, it can be
said that when firm has track record of better responsiveness to environment and when it has
been capable to effectively change way it operates when required Total quality management
become easier to introduce.
After analysing overall situation and business environment it's time to develop clear goal
that introduce TQM in Engineering Tooling firm effectively (Bastas and Liyanage, 2018). The
aim of firm is to improve their production procedure and services quality by using effective
strategies.
According to implementation process of TQM, management by focusing on each stage of
production and supply chain process identify issues and then take action to improve quality
which make assure to make improvement. It can aid company to focus on those things that help
to meet aims and objectives of business and more closer to achieving their mission that is quality
improvement. By measuring performance firm can determine areas where they can make current
and further improvement.
Once key success elements are determined by administration there needs to be
measurements put in place to track or monitor growth. It can be done through reporting
procedures that is utilized to gather specific data and transfer information with top authority. All
above things would help to introduce TQM in Engineering Tooling company. By developing
action plan according to changes firm can solve their identified problems in effective manner and
