Introduction
The main purpose of the assessment is to formulate a marketing and promotional plan
for a Halloween event which would be conducted in Metro Bar. The different events and
functions which are organized in the bar are innovative and aims to make the guest enjoy
themselves with refreshments and party environment. The Metro bar has organized numerous
events which has been related to sports, competition or just party. In this case, an event is to be
organized for which the main theme would be Halloween focusing on scary and spooky aspects
(Bedssu.co.uk. 2019). The assessment would be focusing on the promotional plan for the event
and would also be going into details regarding the financial aspect for the event like sales or
tickets, fixed costs and several other costs relating to the event. The analysis would also be
showing the strategies which are adopted by the event manager for effective promotion and for
spreading awareness for the program.
Discussion
Marketing Plan for the Event
The plan is to organize a Halloween event in Metro Bar for students above the age of 18
years and the same would be held on 31st October 2019. The management of the bar plans to
make the event a huge success and therefore emphasis would be provided on proper
advertisement and promotion of the event (Austin and Pinkleton 2015). As per past event
experiences, the bar has a capacity of 200 people for any party or event and the plan for the
Halloween event would be formulated considering the maximum space which is available. It is
therefore for such reasons that the management of the bar would be offering advanced booking
facilities for the tickets so that maximum capacity is maintained and the bar is able to provide
the best of experiences for the guests.

In order to properly understand the different aspects of market, the event planner from
the bar would be considering the 7 P’s approach of marketing so that different factors which can
impact the event and its success would be considered in the marketing strategies of the
business.
Place
The place which is selected for the event is Metro Bar which is quite appropriate and
well managed. The maximum capacity of the place is 200 people and therefore, the event
planner anticipates a total attendance of 180 people considering past years demand for such
events. The place would be providing the best quality of services, decorations, lightening and
refreshments which would be enough to satisfy the guests.
Product
The product is also considered to be an important determining factor which affects the
entire strategy of the marketing for a business. It is in fact the nature of the product or services
which determines how much revenue is generated by the business and how well the same is
received by the customers (Jones 2017). In he case of Metro bar, the event would be providing
entertainment services to the guest and the tickets are the main source for generating income
for such a case. The bar aims to provide the best quality of services so that the customers are
satisfied with the services. The bar would be investing significantly on food, drinks and
promotion so that more and more guests are attracted to the event.
Price
One of the factors which mostly affects the decisions relating to marketing activities is
the prices of the product or services which is provided. In the case of Halloween event which is
being set up Metro bar, the prices of the tickets would play a vital role in attracting guests. The
prices which would be charged for the tickets would be £ 45 per ticket and the same is set by
