Executive summary
Swinburne Guru Consulting is a coaching business who provides tutors on the basis of the need
of the client. The business is quite successful on its own but there are certain issues arising in the
business that requires attention. These issues has to be dealt with for increase in the production
of the system. Hence, Business Process Modelling is done so that the areas of improvement can
be analysed assessed and solution can be provided for fixing the problem up. Project analysis is
done so that the design of the system’s work flow can be improvised so that a superior
experience can be achieved by the users as well as employees of the system.

Introduction:
The process of the automation in the business world has increased significantly with the
development of modern technologies. Business process management assists the company in
developing, analyze and edit the processes that comprises the core of the company or the
business organisation. The business process modelling on the other hand is the representation of
the company’s work flow graphically. This is basically done to identify the zones where
potential improvement can be applied. According to the business modelling process, there are
two stages in the business and they are As-is state and To-be state. The As-is state involves no
changes in the existing process or stage and To-be state refers to the future stage after certain
improvements are made in the organisation. BPM is not a one-time task. It is considered to be
the consistent re-engineering process. Involvement of the process of automation is frequent in the
Business Process Management. All though BPM cannot be referred to be a technology,
developments can occur outside automation and that happens without the technological benefits.
In the following report, the business process of an organisation, Swinburne Guru Consulting is
analyzed with some of the recommendations for improvements in the some fields where there are
certain issues faced by the company.

Organisation’s role in redesigning the project:
The Swinburne Guru Consulting is owned by Emily Sodapop. The organisation was established
in the month of January, 2012 in Hawthorn. It is small business operating in Hawthorn itself at
present. The company has four permanent employees at present along with the owner Emily
Sodapop. Swinburne Guru Consulting provides coaching helps to the individuals as well as
