Introduction
In the modern business world, the importance of process automation is becoming
significantly important. The business are implementing the appropriate process automation
methods for automating the various business processes. The business process management
could be referred as the discipline of significantly improving any business process from the
end to end with effectively analysing it, then modelling how the processes works in various
scenarios, executing the required improvements, effectively monitoring all the improved
process and constantly optimising the processes. Business process could be described as the
activity or the set of activities that would help in accomplishing any particular goal of the
organisation. BPM is considered as not a one-time task, but instead the ongoing activity that
mainly includes the persistent process re-engineering. BPM frequently involves the
automation of tasks within any provided business process, and even though BPM could not
be referred as technology, and the process improvements could take place outside the
automation and deprived of technology. This report intends to analyse the business processes
of Swinburne Guru Consulting and recommend some improvements in the sectors where the
company is facing major issues.
Discussion
Role of organisational structure on redesign project
Swinburne Guru Consulting is the small business located in Hawthorn and it was
established in January, 2012 and it presently operates from an office within the area of
Hawthorn. The business mainly includes four permanent employees and the owner of the
business is Emily Sodapop. The business of Emily Sodapop provides the required coaching to
all the individuals and the organisations within the areas of the leadership, teamwork and the
personal performance coaching. Emily mainly conducts the coaching with the help of the

team of coaches who efficiently work on the basis of session to session. There are several
other coaches who mainly operate as the subcontractors. The goals of Swinburne Guru
Consulting are educationally and socially driven. The main intention of the company is to
provide the required help to the individuals who are in the dire need with proper
understanding of the requirements that they intend to support in the training phase. The
company also intends to improve the career opportunities and the professional standards of
the clients. In the organisation, it is commonly considered that there is a demonstration of
high levels of care, trust, support and the recognition of the members. Within the groups of
the organisation, the people feel significant flexibility, better opportunities of participating
and express their opinions freely. Any organic organisational form could be described as the
structure that suitable for dealing with the swiftly changing conditions. The company being a
provider of coaching services is significantly governed by the regulatory authorities.
Moreover, it could be viewed that the company mainly operates in a significantly organic
structure, with the following characteristics:
Adaptable, fluid and open to the changes
Fewer layers of management
Specialised job functions
From the above discussion, it could be analysed that the organisational culture,
structure and the vision of the organisation impacts the As-Is processes of the organisation
significantly. The organisational culture helps with the information flow among the various
departments of the organisation ensuring the proper growth of the organisation. As the
employees are regularly engaged in the training process, the implementation of the changes in
the organisation could be efficiently and easily conveyed to the employees.

Although the organisation is running their business effectively and gaining significant
income, there are several issues that are hindering in the effective development of the
organisation and increase the revenue gained. Some of the common problems of the
organisation could be listed as follows:
The coaching specialists have recommended the company could gain significant
advantages from the client with the implementation of the online ordering of assignments.
The coaching assignments could be assigned to the coaches in the online platform simplify
the process of the providing the required guidance to the clients. The benefit of implementing
the online platform would increase the collaboration among the clients and the coaches as the
coaches would be able to provide the required training using internet. The clients could
access their portal anytime and obtain the required information. The clients could post some
queries regarding the issues they are facing regarding the present session of training. The
coaches could provide the solution of the issues of the clients on the online platform that
could be easily viewed by the clients.
It has been researched from the market that several potential clients are not interested
in the coaching session with the company due to the excessive cost of the coaching sessions
and have requested the lowering of the costs of the session. The coaching specialists have
recommended the group sessions with the clients with the similar interests for allowing the
significant reduction of the costs of teaching. The benefit of implementing the coaching
sessions in the group style would allow more and more business to send their employees for
the coaching.
One more major issue of the business is the availability of the clients and the coaches
at the similar time. It has been observed that there have been instances when the booking of
