Answer to Question1:
In order to manage any project, the leading role should be played by the project manager
and all assigned project team members. The project which is taken for the assignment is
upgrading a call centre. These days the company has started recruiting many employees however
they are failing to provide them immediate joining date due to lack of accommodation in the
current call centre office.
The deliverables needed to complete the project
In order to complete the call center upgrading project the project manager requires
following certain construction phases such as initiation, planning, design, execution and project
closure throughout the construction development life cycle period. Before initiating the project
manager should sign contract for the reconstruction followed by bidding and negotiation. The
total time and cost estimated for the successful accomplishment of the project is 18 months and
$80,000 respectively.
For converting the project deliverables into workforce needs the project manager is
required to design the complex large project into smaller work breakdown Structure and
deliverables breakdown Structure. The project should be implemented as per the designed
deliverables details and work breakdown Structure. For demolishing the work load from the
project team workers, for each project activity different resources will be assigned. As the
resources are assigned to each task it become their responsibility to complete the tasks within
that assigned time an budget as well. However in most cases it is found that, the planned cost and
time and slightly differing from the actual cost and time. The variance should be measured to
