INTRODUCTION Career research is an essential for an individual to conduct as it makes easy to identify the skills and capabilities which needs to be developed to achieve strong job position in reputed organisation. For this, an individual need to conduct skills audit so that further action can be implementedfor developingweakareas. Thepresentassignmentreportisbasedonthe requirements needed to get employment opportunities in Tourism industry which grows rapidly from last few years. The report discusses the strengths and weaknesses of an individual to attain good job position in retail industry along with the career action plan to develop weak areas. PERSONAL ANALYSIS The tourism industry is known to be the new developed and successful industry within the line of UK. This sector has seen many innovations and growth in preceded time which paved thewayforflourishingfutureoftourismandleisure.Thissectorbuddedwithvarious opportunities for coming generations such as employment, research and innovations in related industries also. The growth of this sector has mark on the country's rise also. Such major growth of any industry credits the county economic development also. Such developments motivate the youth to be more proficient and this rises the importance of being professional in life resulting in increased opportunities for individual career. Based on this, becoming HR manger is an interesting career in this industry as this will allow me to make use of strengths and knowledge in this field. This industry will provide me with new opportunities also. Being an HR manager, I will hold this responsibility and accountability to use and contribute to my full potential to this position and will try to work truly and in best possible manner. For this, I will be required to possess these skills and knowledge to get successful ahead; Skills requiredConsumer service skills:As a manager I need to give the best hospitality to the customers as by giving them better services and attending them politely, they should keep check on the needs and the services of the customers. Thus, As HR Manager I need to train their employees for the attending their customers variably and making them comfortable with a healthy environment. The main aim of the managers should be to provide the best hospitality and give them best service so they may choose that all over again.
Time management skills: The HR managers have to be smart in managing time skills as they should timely make their employees to provide services to the customer they will have to keep check on the working of every employee, there should be organised proper training sessions for the employees about time management in providing room services, food, beverages and other basic requirements of the customers. There should also be a timely hiring by the managers whenever it is needed and managers should keep check on all the resources so there may not be any scarcity in any department. Networking skills: The HR Managers has the most important role as they have to coordinate with all the employees so there should be proper networking between all the employees and leaders. As for the tourism it is important to give the customers better services so the manager should contact with all teams and keep check on there working zones so as there may not be any delay in services provided to the customers. Managers should focus on recruiting such employees who works as a team to increase the networks of their organisation. And which tries to contact with the customers with various new offers and launching. Innovation and strategic management:The HR managers should make such policies which gives new innovation to the organisation and should try to make such strategies which helps in increasing the profit of their company, there should also be hiring of new employees be made by the managers on the basis of their skills and abilities through which they may attract more customers. Apart from this, I have some strength and weakness which help me in getting work done related to my profession within effective manner. Explanation of these are as follows: - Strength– There are several strengths of me which help me in working as a Store manager. Explanation of these are as follows: - Consumer service skills:The consumer service skill refers to effectively addressing the consumerneeds and wants. The manager can address consumers efficiently when they know and understands there needs and wants. The thorough understanding of consumer action and behavior is necessary to guide them in tourism industry. This is my strength as I have strong interpersonal skill. Being an HR manger this is the basic quality to must have. Time management skills:The time management refers to the management of time in an efficient and smart way. As with every services being digital it is necessary to manage and dedicate time well. The presence of this quality shows the discipline of an professional person. I have this as my great strength and possessing this skill shows the punctuality and respect in understanding the others and own time well.

It enhances the creative thinking of an individual which involves thinking outside the box which means using some new way to address the things. This is my weakness and I am honing this skill by playing more puzzles which will enhance my creativity and innovation thinking patterns. CAREER ACTION PLAN Career action plan is referred to as the planning document which is dynamic in nature and owned and manage through the young people who are intended for reflecting their enhancement for the career development learning.
