INTRODUCTION
Focusing on the career viewpoints is extremely significant for the individuals as it enable
them in learning about various occupation which suits well their respective experience &
competencies & fit them perfectly to their unique career preferences like skills, values and
interest. Thus, it has been believed that individuals or students must prepare for their ability r
skill enhancements & overall career growth so that they can take wise decision because
ineffective decision making by them can put their career at a stake (Ashiq and et. al., 2021).
Therefore, main aim of this report is to highlight career choice that I will make as a students
when pursuing the business studies. Choice that will be examined is “HR profession”. This
report will be based on the personal analysis to assess strength and lacking areas. Beside it, this
report will also draw a career action plan with the motive to improve skill. At last, CV &
LinkedIn profile will be created.
Personal Analysis
As I want to grow my future career in the HR field, for this I have learned various course
so that I can gain a knowledge, understand concept and improve my skill related to the respective
field. I have also got an opportunity to work within a company where I perform with the HR
department. I have observed that there is a necessity to develop or improve few key skills or
abilities that will be required by me in order to carry out my chosen job profession in HR field.
There are various skills required in the field of HR (Beaven, 2019). Therefore, I am very good in
few skill but also lacking in some skill in which I need to bring more improvement. Hence these
skills are discussed below:
Strength
Decision making skill- As HR involve various decision making with the motive to
support the crucial organisational functions, therefore, it has been identified by me that I
am enough efficient to take decision. I am capable to make the difficult decision
whenever will face a dilemma of downsizing. As I carefully identify the situation and
then note the potential actions or solution to solve the problem by identifying their pros
and cons on outcome. It make my decision more valuable and help in bring a positive
result.
