INTRODUCTION Organizational behavior is the study of both individual and team performance and activity with a company. It is systematic study and app of understand about how people or groups act within firms where they work. It gives insight on how workers behave & perform in workplace. It aid management to develop an comprehend of aspects that will motivate staff and help companies establish a trusting as well as strong relationship with their workers. The current study is based on case study related to Susan Taylor’s. It explains three OB issues in case, relevant organizational behavior theories for each of the problems and justified recommendations for action to improve each of three problems. MAIN BODY Three key organizational behavior problems in case Issues 1 Poor understanding of the needs of marketing and production- In organizations different types of business functions are managing and running their activities in effective manner with varied needs. In context of case study, Susan Taylors was thirty year old woman, she had been promoted to take accountability of a product development group composed usually of research oriented pharmacists and chemists. In organization broadly experiencedworkersbegantoexhibitopen exasperationatresearchspecialists’lackof comprehending of needs of production & marketing. Without understanding the needs of both departments,managementisunabletoincreaseproductivityandcreatepositivework environment around workplace (Knai and et.al., 2018). It is really very essential to comprehend needs of all the members working in same place because it helps to build strong bond between management and workers. Needs are a state of self deprivation in an applicant or filed. Instead of supporting and understanding the needs of selling as well as manufacturing sections, broadly experienced members began to treat ineffectively. Susan tries to handle the whole situation, but her effort is worthless as she was unable to take any help from seniors. Marketing and production department play vital role in success and growth of business as they are able to
satisfied the needs of consumers and gain their attention towards purchasing products or services. Issue 2 Interference in work by new manager Workers like to work in comfortable and stress free environment as it allow them to perform day to day activities in effective manner that outcomes increase productivity level rather thanbefore(KailasapathyandJayakody,2018).Ahealthyandprogressiveworkplace environment is ideal when it comes to maintaining a good result in a stressful atmosphere. In context of given case study, work area situation is quite different from other places, here new manager make interferences in activities conducted by employees which is not acceptable at side of staff. Such people do not want that manager or any other person make interference while they are performing because it affects work practices and concentration. Manager have most direct impact on workers they line manage, they are accountable for aligning performance of their staff and departments with overarching organizational aims. Interference can be causes people to overreact or even quite away from their jobs. It has been considered after analyzing case study that workers especially research orientated kinds asked question why they were being asked to complete certain projects or activities. Susan never saw these kinds of situations in her previous job positions where she was accountable for some 40 production workers among which three supervisors are female. When new manager interference in work of staff member, it creates negative environment in workplace. People always want to work for longer under inclusive work culture where work pressure from top management is less which is quite beneficial for management and employees as well. There are many different type of limitation which will be also brought by the introduction of bureaucracy theory in the organization. As it has seen that employee generally used to become rigid in the organization and also find it difficult to fix the good amount of communication in the organization. So after going through the different benefit and disbenefit of same in the organization it has been identified that with the help of bureaucracy theory in the organization will help the company in coming the problem of lack of management (Boamah and Laschinger, 2016). Interference in work by new manager in the work of the employee- System management theory will help the company in overcoming the issue related to interference in work by new manager in the work of the employee. As it has been identified that System management theory of the OB is generally looks at providing all employee the guidelines which has to be followed by the different employee in the organization which is provided by the senior and there is good sort of the clarity(Kuznetsova, and et.al., 2017). Guideline hear generally means that the role which has to be performed by the employee in the organization and different way through which they can perform there activity in the organization. As it has been find out that there is one issue which is faced by the employee in the organization is that new manager in the organization used to interfere them in employee working in the organization. Appling this sort of theory in the organization will help the company in overcoming the same in the organization, as it has been identified that by applying this theory all the employee in the organization will get the ample period of time and room to carry out different operation of the business more efficiently. Not only that this will also help the organization in bringing good sort of clarity. This eventually means that with the help of system management theory organization will able to overcome the issue related to interference in work by new manager in the organization. No proper understanding related to the marketing need of the company in the market- Modern management theory of OB is another theory which can be applied in an organization. As it has been identified that there is no proper understanding related to the
marketing need of the company in the market. So it will be better for the company to rearrange thedifferentfunction,departmentanddesignofthecompanyinthemarket.Different rearrangement in the organization will help the company in understanding the need of different activity more easily in the organization. This will eventually means that organization will able to understand the different need of the market more easily in the organization. Organization also has to make sure that they used to rearrange the different activity in a way in the organization that it used to help the company in understanding the different need in the market very easily. Suggestions for action to improve each of three issues Here, suitable recommendations are based on organizational behavior issues given in case study which affect production procedure. In order to improve each of above three problems, Susan and management take right actions and follow the possible suggestions because it is quite beneficial for overall business growth as well as success. In context of first problem, inappropriate understanding of needs of different sections impact on sales of company rather than before. To solve this issue, management must focus on wants or demands of every department in firm because it helps to build strong workforce who are able to contribute in competitive environment for gaining competitive advantages. It is very important for organization and its management to know and comprehend needs as well as wants of section with regard to facilities that is what employees expect from administration. Knowing and understanding needs play vital role in motivating & encouraging people to deliver their best. It helps manager or leader to comprehend marketing needs and expectations from company in which Susan work. Unless staff feel themselves indispensable for business, and they would never take things seriously. By communicating with team of marketing and production, management is able to understand the needs and then plan to offer facilities accordingly.

In context of second problem, new manager must take participate in employees work, they do not interfere in working activities because contribution is important instead of interference as it decrease productivity level rather than before. It also help to increase the motivational degree of employees more than past few years which is very beneficial for company in term of increasing profitability and allow management generate sales as compare to other firms operating in same sector. While this will improves relationship between top authority and staff and also boost as effective sense of group work among people. With this kind of behavior in company Susan feel more comfortable rather than her previous job, she also get an opportunity to work with skilled as well as talented applicants. It improve relations and reduced stress level increased among workers when manager interference in their work. In regards to third issue, management support at difficult situation helps a lot as it helps to encourage people performing better than before. With the support of seniors Susan produces products in effective manner even when product receives after decided time frame. Susan must ask to take support from senior as it helps her and its team to manufacture item under superior guidance. Research director always stand by their team because he is able to direct and control workers activities for getting positive results. Production manager must work with their team when complex situation arise they need to oversee manufacturing procedure after collecting specific product within company as well as also assure that production lines run without any trouble. Management should follow all the organizational behavior theories principles within business practices and performance because it helps firm to run and operate their functions with strong team of skilled applicants. They must work with supportive model
as one of the best organizational behavior models. It emphasis on aspiring & motivated leaders or manger. There is no space for interference or authoritative power in this concept or on rewards or incentives programmes, but this model is simply based on motivatingandsupportingworkersthroughestablishmentofmanagerandstaff relationship and treatment that is offered to people on daily basis. CONCLUSION From above analysis, it has been concluded that Susann Taylor’s is not happy while doing their job. Her work was not turning out as effectively as she had desire after her successful interview. Lack of understanding of needs of marketing & production, poor support from management side and manager interference are the three types of organizational behavior problems identified in given case study which has been solved by applying relevant and appropriate theories. By following the principles of above theories, it is very easy for manager or management in which Susan work to create positive working environment around workplace for all the employees.
