Need to explain
a)Your program is flexible, vibrant and supports children’s learning and uniqueness in
positive ways.
I have chosen the painting and the craft for the indoor program which help the children
in increasing their imagination power and the creativity of the children. Through the painting the
children will learn and enjoy the program which help them in increasing their exploration in
examine the properties of the objects. The program is flexible because it help the children in
conveying their ideas through the pictures, increase the sense of colour as well it help the
children to interact with each other which increase their relationship with other children. The
program has increased the interaction of the children which support them by creating the friendly
environment. The uniqueness of this program is that it has increased the rhythm and also
provided the clay to the children which has increased their imagination of making the craft
(Lundy and Trawick-Smith, 2021). The digging dints help the children in building their immune
system and boost their immunity to fight with the allergies, asthma and other chronic disease.
The playing with the dirt can help the children in combating the inflammation, prevent from the
respiratory illness as well as fight from the bowel disease so the digging program is unique and
flexible for the children.
b)Your program provides opportunities to follow up on high interest activities
The painting and the craft program increase the educational, opportunities to the children.
The painting and the craft program increase the eye and the hand coordination of the children.
The painting increase the mobility skill of the children as well as develop their mental and the
physical condition. The painting and the craft has increase the opportunities of the children in
discovering their creativity in the colour. The children learn the colour mixture. The painting
increase the learning skill of the children of learning the size, shape, pattern and the design. The
painting provides the opportunities in following the high interest activity by increasing the foster
creative growth, and strengthening the memory. The digging provides the opportunities and
increase the high interest of the children because digging makes the children healthy. It
strengthen the emotional and the interpersonal skill of the children. The digging help the children
to connect with the nature and make the children environmental stewards (Masten and Palmer,
2019).

c)Your environments are age appropriate and set up incorporating the interests and
abilities of the children
The indoor program for the children has to be set in the hall which is airy and having the
proper space which is the proper environment for the painting. The age group are the Three to
three and half year old and hall is the appropriate place because the children are very little so the
program should not be arranged very far away from the care centre. The program in the hall
provides them all the comfortability to the children. The hall access the broad diversity of
materials and the building and the crafting. The park has chosen for the digging activity which is
near the tree. The park is the safe outdoor space which has monitored by the educators (Angeli
and Valanides, 2020). The environment of the park is sheltered which provides the shade which
protect the children from the weather effect. The park has close proximity to the bathroom and
easy access to the drinking water so the park is the appropriate place for digging activity which is
beneficial for the childed and increase the interest of the children and also help them in
increasing their abilities.
d)Materials and resources are natural and familiar to the children
The materials which has used in the indoor program are the cardboard, painting colours,
brush, water colour are made up of the natural products and familiar to the children because child
always use the colours and brush in the painting in the home. The materials use in the digging
program are the spade and the axe which is made up of soft plastic. The educator has learn the
children before the digging program about the different equipments used in digging also instruct
them the proper use of the equipments. Th equipments are made up of plastic which is familiar to
the children because the children plays from the different kinds of plastic toys so it does not
harm the children. Being an educator I have monitors the digging program and ensure that the
plastic materials are light and easy to handle so it will not harm the children.
e)You have provided opportunities for children to modify their indoor/outdoor
environment.
I have provided the opportunities in painting program of the children by monitoring their
work and providing the clay to make the craft which increase their interest in the painting. The
wall of the hall are painted with the different colour and the picture which also increase the
interest of the children in the painting and the craft. I have provide the basket of different colour
and shape, spade of different shape which is picturised with the different colour and pictures. I

have also arrange the music in the park which provide the stimulating environment to the
children. I have also used the interesting and engaging material in digging by using the water
plastic cups, frozen paints stick to attract the children towards the digging (Yeh, Chang and
Chen, 2019). I have also add the fun in the digging by putting the chocolate under the soil and
make the digging interested for the children.
f. You have supported children’s efforts, and encouraged them to persist with a
developmentally specific activity/task they found particularly difficult to master.
While playing with excavation tools in the park, some students do not have that must
strengths to handle the tools. The educator helps the children in handling the tools. The educator
assist the students in digging the dints of several sizes in order to teach them about the shapes
and sizes. The educator also encourages the students to interact with the all other children for
getting help of making friends in order to enhance their interpersonal skills and interaction skills.
The educator also guided the students in making the different colour by mixing two or more
colour (Jagnani, 2021). They encouraged the children to see the near by things and try to paint
them on the paper. With the help of this program the educator assisted the children in developing
the cognitive skill as the educator is focusing on the grasping the process thus the educator is
asking some question in between the process so as to inquire the knowledge gain.
g. Consulted with the children about the experiences and the materials that they might
need to be available to them.
The educator talk to the children in whole program and notices their behaviour and asked
about the experiences while doing the program. The educator also talk to the children and
recognise their interest so as to make the children engaged. They asked the children about the
stuffs they want in the program and available those to them. Some children are facing difficulties
in handling the equipments, the educator helps them in proper using and digging the dints. Some
children wants to do the process with their specific friends the educator listen to them and make
their team along with the other children also so that they develops the interaction skill and
helping nature. The educator asked the children some question like why they paint the things and
where did they saw that things (Omidvar, Wright, Beazley and Seguin, 2019). This are reflecting
their memory power. Some students asked for different types of colour such as crayons, pencils
colours the educators make it sure that they are available to them.

h. Routines such as mealtimes must be considered in your program. How do you maximise
these routines and ensure they are valuable learning experiences?
The mealtime has added in between the program of the both the indoor and the outdoor
activity. The meal like the biscuit, cup cake, fruits, soup, juice and other item are the menu of the
meal. I have ensure the proper handwashing of the children before the meal. The mealtime
increase the learning experience of the children and maximise the efficiency of the children
because the children get the energy after getting the meal. The meal increase the concentration
power and the memory of the children. It increase the physical activity of the children and
children getting more involved in the digging activity after the meal.
I. Ensure your reflective journal includes:
a.How you created possibilities for peer scaffolding
For the possibilities of the peer scaffolding, Those children who have week muscle strengths and
hesitate to communicate are grouped with the another children who have these qualities. The
children are also grouped in the Painting activities (Yu, Denham and Searight, 2022). In this one
child is kept for drawing the pattern on the page and other child who knows how to use the
colour in a proper way.
b.How you organised routines and supported learning through play.
The routines for the programmes are well organised as the programs includes the some question
session in which the educator are enquiring for the development in the children, the program is
properly organised with the proper meal time. By the help of activities children are learning
various skills such as interaction skills, cognitive development.
c.How you created opportunities for learning through play intentional teaching.
Through the playing the children are learning about the shapes and sizes and also about the
colour and their combinations. They are also developing some skills like interaction skills,
cognitive development (White, Thibodeau-Nielsen, Palermo and Mikulski, 2021). They are also
acknowledging about the outer environment as well. They are developing the nature of helping
other and sharing the things with other also.
d.How you supported play experiences initiated by children
The educator supported the children by getting involved with them and enjoying the process.
Along with the children finding the best way to perform the activities and enjoying the outcome
they get.
