INTRODUCTION
Communication is the process of exchanging information from one person to another by
using one or many medium of communication. In health care sector, communication plays
crucial and important role. Without precise communication, health care workers would not able
to interact with service users effectively and efficiently. In accordance with this context, the
following report will help in understanding the importance and use of communication in health
and social care centres. The use of communication skills and methods of interacting with service
users will be assessed in this assignment. The strategies to support the service users with specific
communication need will be addressed in this report. The legislation, charters and codes of
practices impacts on the process of communication will be assessed in this assignment.
Eventually, the benefits of using ICT in health and social care for user services, care workers and
care organisation will be identified and explained in this assignment.

P 1.2 Use of communication skills in health and social care context
AIHO health and social care organisational professionals are required to use of efficient
communicational activities at the workplace in order to understand each clients requirements
effectively and also furnish effective healthcare services towards their clients in the healthcare
industry effectively as well. AIHO organisation's professionals has been identified that there is
some miscommunication is being formulate while they are providing their existing home care
services towards a client. Many times it has been seen that person with disability clients gets
effected negatively with AIHO organisation's services because of its professionals are not well
known about non-verbal language and instruction efficiently so that it several time being cause
of miscommunication while furnishing effective home care services in the UK (Bowling, 2014).
They do not understand properly the instructions of disability clients at home so their
requirements are not being fulfilling by the organisation's professionals at the workplace. So in
these circumstances, the organisation must give proper training to their service provider
professionals in terms of make them more efficient while they are handling services with disable
clients. They need to understand each instruction of disable client at the home in effective
manner so that their client feel satisfied with the services of the healthcare organisation. AIHO
professionals need to learn non-verbal language in order to create sufficient communication with
their clients and better service them as well. Services providers of the organisation require using

their interpersonal skills and also improve them so that they will be able to understand each
home care demand of their clients and efficiently fulfil them as well.

In health and social care settings several times, it has been seen that, there are various
barriers' comes at the workplace while organisation in furnishing their existing social and
healthcare services (Barer, ed., 2017). AIHO organisation faces several kinds of inappropriate
inter-personal communication between health and social care setting service provider and service
user. The barriers among them is that misrepresentation of appropriate data, inappropriate
language use at the workplace, break the trust of each client in the organisation, not proper
knowledge of inter-personal skills and other non-verbal languages so that they could not create
effective communication among their clients. In social care setting communication play essential
role, so that AIHO professional need to improve their inter-persona skills and knowledge of non-
verbal language at the workplace in context of furnishing efficient healthcare services towards
those clients who is having disability disease (Chretien and Kind, 2013). In order to overcome
from these barriers of inter-persona skills, AIHO service provider need to learn different kinds of
language which can help them to better communicate with their patients at several regions of the
country and furnish effective health and social care service towards their patients in more
effective manner. AIHO organisation need to conduct training program at the workplace in order
improvement in the inter-personal skills of their professional in effective rate so that their service

effective way (Purnell, 2012). They also could utilisation of positive behaviour at the workplace
in order to better communicate with their patients and also efficiently identify each needs of their
customer while furnishing healthcare services. They must behave with dignity and respect with
their each clients at the workplace so that their clients feel more valuable and satisfied towards
the organisational services and it can also improve the quality of communication in the firm so
that their issues can recognise appropriately at the workplace. AIHO social and health care
organisation ought to utilise of these strategies at the workplace so that they could proper address
of these communicational issues at the workplace and improve their healthcare performance
within the organisation in effective form.

in order to provide the best online management services and informational sharing services
through online mode. Health and social care worker faces various kinds of challenges in the firm
in order to development of their services (Bennett, ed., 2010). This is software designed for
highly demand of health and social industry in order to fulfilment of their demand in efficient
form in the industry. Several times it has been seen that health and social care professionals do
not trust on the results of this application in more effective manner. There are several times it has

approach, each patient can expose their feelings, emotions and values in respect of furnishing
appropriate healthcare services in the various kinds of cultural society within the country

need to understand each culture value, beliefs, languages, customs and their traditions as well in
order to proper understand their demand efficiently. In the given case, we have a person Miss
Gina, in the case she is been located to England to 3 years and in this country for several reasons,
she is suffering from depression diseases. In this situation she wants to meet their family and
children in India. AIHO organisation must take values of Miss Gina emotions and help them to
reach to India and meet to their family in this country while will make feel them relax from
depression after meet to their family. In order to proper understand the emotions of Miss Gina,
AIHO organisation's professionals need to understand Hindi language properly so that they can
get their proper attention and causes of issues. As a service provider of healthcare firm I will
make effort to send Miss Gina to their home country India and assist her to meet their family as
soon as possible so that these exercises help her to get relief from depression effectively.
Appropriate communication method can make improvement in service provision methods of the
organisation in effective manner and they need to make use of modern approach of
communicational process by which they can generate more effective services to needed persons
in the society efficiently.
