INTRODUCTION
Consulting can be defined as the suggestions that are being given to the business so that they can
operate effectively in the technical filed. It has been analysed that consulting with an expert can
assist the organization in overcoming the issues or problems that has been faced by them. It can
enhance the operational efficiency of firm. Present report will lay emphasis on British Airways s
the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom, headquartered in London, England, near its main
hub at Heathrow Airport. It is the second largest airline in UK. Report will lay emphasis on an
evaluative approach to a range of practical business data, and sources of information for delivery
of the project. Report will also deliver innovative solutions to the client’s problems together with
recommendations for measuring and evaluating those solutions. It will also demonstrate effective
communication skills.

Evaluative approach to a range of practical business data
It has been analysed that in order to solve the problem face by organization, it is really
necessary to make use of various evaluation approaches so that the practical business data can be
analysed and interpreted. One of the most effective approaches that can be used by consulting
agency is to make use of Balance Scorecard. This technique can assist the agency in knowing
about the financial performance of British Airways. They can analyse financial concern rising in
the firm and can improvise the organization activities so that long term and short term financial
performance of the organization can be improved. This approach can support in analysing the
current performance as well as it will also trigger about the future performance. This approach
will also help the consultancy firm in also knowing about the customer perception towards firm
and satisfaction of employees towards British Airways (Randall, Burnes and Sim, 2018).
They will be able to collect the information of all problems faced by workers and can also
assist the firm in retaining it. It has been analysed that the Balance scorecard strategy will
support the organization in combining the financial;, human and physical resources in achieving
the goals and objectives of firm. The other approach that can be used by the consultancy firm is
benchmarking. They can ask British Airways to implement the Benchmarking strategy. In this
they must motivate the workers to evaluate the practices that are being done by other firm and
analyse their practices with them. This will assist them in implementing new strategies so that
