world. This sector is responsible for providing the best accommodation, food facilities in other
places such as banqueting and conference, luxury hotels etc. This industry is mainly focused to
provide the best services to their regular customers. This sector will explore their dynamic
properties and focus on future and current trends to analyses information and ideas.
This sector tries to create an effective business to understand the requirements of
customers. Marriott Hotel is a leading organization to provide the best services to their customers
therefore; they get attracted towards their services and facilities. This report will determine the
role and scope of Marriott hotel to provide an effective service.
1.1 current scale, scope and diversity of the Marriott
The hospitality industry support to other sectors that widely spreads in all over the world
such as Hotels and restaurants. The Marriott hotel is a leading brand that provides the best
services in beverages, accommodation and food services. It also provides an effective service
such as housekeeping and security (Deery and Jago, 2015). Marriott hotel is a travel organization
that offers many advantages to their guests. They use different marketing platform to promote
their services effectively and efficiently.
In this organization, there are 3, 00,000 employees working to maintain services where
65% are women staff and rest are males. The staff members have 9-10 years of experience to do
their work effectively and efficiently (Domingo and Hui, 2016). This hotel is designed in a very
attractive way. They design their room and structure in proper and most of the guest are
attracted towards their design pattern. This hotel provides variety of food services and offers
various job opportunities to achieve their goals and targets. They hired those employees who
have capabilities to manage their roles and responsibilities in effective way. They always try to
increase their brand value in marketplace.
Marriott is a leading and diversify industry in which there are many hotels and properties
in 90 counties that has enhance their business in all over the world (Huang and Wan, 2016).
They offer variety of services, accommodations, good quality of rooms in various sizes and
range, 24 hours customer services etc. Every year, 50 million people came for holidays and they
prefer to choose the best hotel because they provide an effective quality of services. They

welcome to their guest in proper manner therefore, every customers are attracted the traditional
culture and always try to stay in this hotel. This is very helpful for country to increase their
capital value and generate high revenues. The turnover of this industry is $4,876 Billion every
year. It is beneficial for both organization and country.
The Marriott provided two different services such as tourist and travel services. They off
support for guest in the tourism sector. They are mainly to increases their services in marketplace
and enhancing their business in other countries (Jauhari and Bharwani, 2017). They use different
platform and technologies to increases the number of guest with the help of marketing. They try
to increase their popularity in market place. According to survey, it concluded that this
organization is included in hospitality industry and their 90% staffs belong to white community
and 10% staff from minority. This is a very important part of hospitality industry to become
enhance their business in all areas and locations.

it leaves the first impression on customers. There are two different types such as Hotel Marriott
and Elme Hall Hotel have been discussed below:

divide into different functions and departments such as maintenance team, front desk executive,
housekeeping services, audit and sales team.

guest in dynamic way. This organization is focus to finding the particular goals and achievement.

product in marketplace. They are working with the government to managing the proper
enterprise environment and performing a different functions in effectively(Kandampully and
Bilgihan, 2015). This industry is inspiring the other generations to establishing in successful,
managing the competitiveness of hospitality.
Spring Board- This is the best sector for young people to provide an effective
opportunity related the employment and job options. It is promoting the services and facilities of
hospitality sector to enhance their work experience of various jobs. They identify the need and
social responsibilities towards the business functions and operations. They provide fund for

impact on society and it is harmful for bodies. The law require towards in organization because
of cleaning, safety etc. Marriott hotel is against to the smoking in public areas that are not allows
