BackgroundThe process of providing knowledge and enabling people to control and improve their health isknown as Health promotion. This is the approach to bring a social change in the society andhelps in resolving the health problems. The World Health Organization introduced seven important principles of health promotion andthose principles are as follows: World Health Organization Principles of Health PromotionFirst initiative or principle is an Empowerment, Health promotion that helps to enable peopleand community to assume more powers for the various factors that affecting the health such aspersonal, socioeconomic and environmental factors.Secondly, Participative Health promotion principles involve in the engagement of people inplanning, implementation and evaluation. A holistic Health promotion initiative helps inimproving health physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. Inter-sectoral Health promotioninitiatives are the initiative taken by the collective involvement of agencies from relevant sectors.Equitable Health promotion initiatives take place to show a concern for equity and social justice.Sustainable Health promotion is helping individuals and communities inmaintaining initialfunding. Multi-strategy Health promotion initiatives is a step that uses a variety of ways incombination with one another.The variety of approaches are like policy development,organizational change, community development, education and communication. Looking at allthe initiatives the motive of health promotion is to encourage positive health and protectingpeople from ill health. Moreover, health promotion plays a key role in establishing preventivehealth measures such as screening and immunization [ CITATION Kum12 \l 1033 ]. 2

For the promotion and the improvement of the health of people, there is a strategic frameworkhas been developed by the organization which has one objective is to promote the health andremove the inequalities. The health promotion, strategic framework sets many objectives andthese all objectives are clear, consistent and accurate in nature and they are focusing more on thehealth of the promotion. This framework is not only focused on the activity is to be done by theorganization, but also pays attention on how to assess and analyze the needs of people by doingresearch on the target market where they live, work and play, these all are considered as thesettings of the health promotion.Identifying Health NeedsIt is very imperative to identify the needs of human being and there are many theories andstudies are applied to identify the needs. It is very common thing that every human being hasneeds and their needs are changing with the time. The very popular theory is used to identify theneeds developed by the Maslow. Maslow introduced hierarchy of five needs. Maslow Theory of identifying needs- Maslow’s hierarchy needs to contain five levels. The lowermost level is physiological needs which are the most basic needs, including food, shelter,clothing. The next level is the safety needs which include security of the job, security of body,security of resources, etc. next is the belongingness needs which include family, affection,friendship etc. the level rises up to esteem needs which includes confidence, self esteem,achievement, respect. The last level is the self actualization needs which include creativity,acceptance of facts, etc. In order to move properly in the hierarchy, one must satisfy the basicneeds and only then the self actualization needs are fulfilled.3

To analyze the health needs there are 3 research articles will be discussed that are helpful inidentifying the needs and prioritize the needs of homeless young people.Article 1- The author in the article “Rebuilding Bridges: Homeless People’s Views on theRole of Vocational and Educational Activities in Their Everyday Lives “ explains that theHomeless people are facing many problems in their routine work of marginalization. As a resultof which they are suffering from low confidence, low self efficacy. Training and employment forthe homeless people will be the best step that can be adopted to re-build the gaps or bridges. Thisarticle suggests that the engagement of people in the activities is not for the future goals, but thisis aim to build the confidence and self efficacy. Article 2- In this article “homeless health care raising the standards “ introduces a multifacetedapproach that deals with the homeless people and more concern is given to substance abuse,mental health disorders, physical ill health and homelessness itself.Work activities also helppeople to walk in a right direction and stay away from the alcohol and drugs.there are manyfactors that are responsible for the ill health of the homeless people like poverty, alcohol,substance abuse, mental disorders. The expenses related to healthcare are increasing day by dayand the patients are growing enormously in number and therefore, it has become imperative tofigure out new and cost effective ways to manage the records and costs related areas. This helpsin the improvement of problems which are being faced by hospitals, which are related to costs.There is a dire need of the DRG process as it helps to analyze that whether the information givenby healthcare industries correspond to the information which is given in the records which aremaintained regarding the patients.4
