INTRODUCTION
Tesla Motors is a world largest Motor Car retailer and multinational company which sell
self-assemble Motor Car, various types of appliance. The Tesla Motors is a industry which has
its headquarter in the Palo Alto, California (US). It is an automotive industry which founded in 1
July, 2013. Founder of the company is Elon Musk, JB Struble, Martin Eberhard, Marc
Tarpenning and Ian Wright. It served its services in world wide level. It operates its business
with a vision “to create a better everyday life for the many people”. It has grown to the largest
multinational retailer of Motor Car. It has its business operation network with more than 1500
Motor Car suppliers around the world. Tesla Motors has its trade links in around 50 countries in
designing their own Motor Car. It has an objective is to design or produce the product at
reasonable or affordable for the people who can't afford to buy expensive product. It trades
internationally, with having 341 stores in around 38 countries. He always tries to explore their
ideas so that he can root its business by giving self- design, assembly, showroom etc. to the
people. Nowadays, Cited firm is known as world best company which make their position in
Europe, Asia, USA, Africa and Oceania. Organisation is famous for its architectural and interior
design. It is also famous for their ozone-friendly design in their interior which shows a friendly
manner Urbancova (2013).
Tesla has a great network with high-powered supercharges which located near North
America, Europe and Asia by providing Tesla vehicle. Company also operates a Destination
Charging Program. It also work with number of production and assembly plants. Working
culture of company denotes the strong history and wide background and struggle which founder
make while establishing a company. All the struggles and efforts which are made by the founder
shows the witness of friendly, disciplined and hardworking culture of an organisation. All the
members in a firm make strong relationship which help to integrated the work effectively.
ANALYSIS THE ORGANISATION BY INCLUDING THE MAIN
CONCEPTS
Different companies have their different values and beliefs. It can be said that every
organisation have their specific identity and features which reflects in culture. Here, culture
refers to the atmosphere or environment in which different employees and staff members
completed their work Salas & Rosen (2013). Culture plays an important role for effective

running of business. Inn respect of organisational culture, Hofstede has propounded the
dimension theory which help to smoothly operate the business. To deal with the international
market, it is essential for every business enterprise to make effective coordination and planning.
It helps to face and operate the different culture and values of such environment. By using this
model, it analysis the impact of cross-culture on business. Tesla Motors is a company which set
their principles and values which affect the working style. For example: If company make
recruitment process, it gives more preferences to the skills of a person so that employees can
learn and motivate in more effective manner. This is a kind of value which are used by the cited
organisation to ensure smooth running in a global level.
Tesla Motors mainly focus on the culture to get themes and willpower which is essential
for the development of health environment in the workplace. Company's culture deal their
activity with humbleness, leadership style. It also takes responsibilities by managing the cost and
perform various task by taking simplicity in their performance. Hofstede model consist various
kinds of informations which analysis the culture and working practices which are used by the
organisation Morello, Lowthian, Barker, McGinnes, Dunt & Brand (2013). These are as follows:
Power distance index: This dimensions describes the equality and inequality in the
workplace. It shows that as per the culture, the power of the country is divided among people. It
can be said that if company has high power distance than person who have complete power will
rule all over the operational activity. On the other hand, if company has less power distance than
their will condition of equality in power in the workplace. For example: In case of Tesla Motors
which is considered as most powerful company. If China has high power distance than in such
condition, authorities is given high power. Hence, powerful person will take all the decision
related to the working. On the other hand, if Tesla Motors has lower power distance than their
will be equal condition in the workplace and every person have equal opportunities or right to
perform in a workplace. If Tesla Motors want to organize training and development program,
then employees of China have a duty to accept these things and also share their opinion by
adjusting the programs.
