INTRODUCTION
Education is the process of offering learning, sharing knowledge, skills and values through which
personal development can be done. The methods of education are teaching, training, discussion, research
and story telling. The education sector is rapidly growing and this involves experienced professionals,
and involvement of people which can enhance the quality of education in the society. Education is the
process of gaining knowledge, skills and development through studying or by training. Whereas,
training is the process of learning and enhancing the skills which are required to perform the assigned
activity or task effectively (Difference between training and education, 2019). Professional practices is
essential as it plays a crucial role which helps in implementing a well-designed teaching program, in an
appropriate manner. Education is one of the vital components of human life and the process of education
supports in enhancing skills, gaining knowledge and enhance the lifestyle and living standards. This
report will discuss the concepts of professionalism in education sector and how different factors can
influence education policy. The research will discuss the role of external bodies in education and
training and the influence of organizational requirements and expectations on practice in specific area of
expertise. Lastly, the project will outline quality assurance arrangements, functions of self-assessment
and evaluation of a learning programme.

The concept of professionalism in education and training can be describe as the competences or skills
that is expected of a professional. The professionalism can be defined as the capability of being reliable
as well as setting high standards as well as showing care or value about the particular job. It is essential
for a person to consider professionalism while performing and conducting organizational practices in
significant and effective manner. It has been determined that professionalism is the central concept in
both education and training. The main motive of professionalism is to assist teachers as well as training
to increase and improve skills of individual to enhance their own personal stands as well as the quality
of conducting practices of training and education system. In education and training practices it has been
identified that teachers have high professional standards that is based on the interactions with students,
parents, colleagues, community members as well as other staff members. For being a professional in
