I believe in participation, observation and manipulation of things in order to gain an understanding of some things well. Practices which will support this belief As an educator, I will offer chances for the children to make discoveries, develop, explore, create and imagine. I will ensure that children are involved in all kinds of play such solitary, supervised play in which I will be part of their play to teach them more through play. Also, depending on the child age, I will be in a position to organize them appropriately to minimize injuries and frustrations that can result in case a child is unable to participate as they could wish to. Similarly, a variety of playing materials should be provided by schools for children to manipulate and learn through them efficiently(McClain, 2015). Therefore, I will allow children to participate in activities that are age appropriate in order to learn better. For instance, children can be involved in activities such as watering of flowers or plants around the school compound or the ones planted in one of the classroom corners for them to get more exposed. In addition, children will be allowed to ask questions they have during these particular moments, because I will be supervising them accordingly to make sure they are satisfied in every manner and also to prevent them from seeing things activities as punishment to them(Joseph, Craig, & Caldwell, 2015). I will hence deal with each child in a special and personal manner without generalization. I will ensure that I have time for face to face interaction for each kind to eliminate any fear that they might have even towards me as a teacher. Some of the practices that support this belief include children to feel keen about learning, to be attentive, inquiring, and cheerful as they learn, and to be intensely involved in fresh and puzzling experiences (Robins, Dautenhahn, & Dubowski, 2006). Am inspired by the children’s curiosity since this is what makes them gain knowledge of things they do not know environment and interacting with each other. As an educator, I will show love to all children to ensure that they feel comfortable and get more interested in studying. A nurturing teacher makes children desire to stay around him or her. I will ensure that I organize things that makes the learning to the children attractive and tends to thirst more and more for education. Providing a variety of playing equipment such as a merry-go- round, balls, seesaw, swing set, spring rider, trapeze rings, mazes, sandbox, slide, jungle, chin-up bars, and many others. All these assists children to advance physical coordination, power and tractability as well as providing refreshment and pleasure and backup social and emotional improvement (Alismail & McGuire, 2015).
