1. Introduction
Effective business communication is the most important thing for interpersonal
communication to understand the clarification of message and provide effective communication to
make sense of the message. Body language, word choice, clarification,and corrections in words,
thetone in avoice all these are considered as effective communication in business (Rentz & Lentz,
2013). Understanding of issues and deliver the best outcomes for them can only possible from the
effective communication. Though this communication procedure, people internal characteristic and
dormant form of nature comes out in this form of communication.
2. Diagnosis and Reflection
2. A. Five Diagnosis tools and their diagnosis
In this assignment, the selected five diagnosis tools are Self-Perceived Communication
Competence Scale (SPCC), Personal Report of Intercultural Communication Apprehension
(PRICA), Nonverbal Immediacy Scale-Self Report (NIS-S), and Personal Report for Public
Speaking Anxiety (PRPSA) and Effective Business Talkaholic Scale Communication (EBTSC).
SPCC determines the level of competency of different cultural level and their meeting
situations.There are many occasions when people are in the situation where a discussion is going on
with different cultural people. In that situation, communication is the best medium of express their
feeling in an ethical way so a better form of perception can be driven by this tool (Sadia et al., 2016).
In this process, the self-perceived is evaluated by the different sections of people and the attitude of
participants towards these kinds of people. Intercultural conversation enriches to grab new findings
and always focused on the cross-cultural communication.
PRICA is developed for the interaction with cultural groups and this communication process
help to access interethnic context of communication. PRICA is a derivative form of apersonal report
that focuses on the situational context ad intercultural communication (Thill & Bovée, 2013). This is

an effective designed form that fit for the intercultural aspect and determines the suitable people for
the post.
Non-verbal Immediacy is a positive signal of feeling towards another person. This is
completely analyzed from the perspective of thejudgment of the people who deliver those signals. As
asserted by Shwom& Snyder (2015)Body movements, posture, signals, attitude,and aggression all
these are considered as Non-verbal and most of the cases people using these kinds of gesture for
silent understanding. Facial expression can play a vital role in communication, and most of
theinteractions are done by this process.
Personal Report for Public Speaking Anxiety is a situation that influencing systematic
desensitization on communication apprehension. This situation applies to the pre-session feeling
before any performance. The performance may be any speech, any activity or related to any kinds of
physical activities the internal situation of the person is the entire matter of this situation.
Talkaholic Scale Communication is the method of identifying the over thecommunicative
manner of people and their tendencies to communicate at such time when interaction is not needed
(Tuna, Gulez & Gungor, 2013). This is a one-dimensional demonstration of good internal and test
reliability which determines over communication problems and effective mannerism of reflection.
2. B. Findings
In case of SPCC mark division is segregated into 0 to 100, and within that scores, all
qualitative aspects of people and their intercultural activities are shown in this context. In case of
thepublicsection, I got 61.67% that determines I have moderate conversation power and have a fair
bit of knowledge to take part in theintercultural conversation. There are lots of new things that
evolve through the process, and I certainly love those conversations which enrich my knowledge too.
In case of meeting my pro-activeness comes out more relevantly and I got 63.33%. This is a kind of
situation when a group of people gathers and discuss in adifferent topic or different issues which are
relevant enough to enhance knowledge, but in some cases, I feel unaccustomed or uneasy with that
discussion as I am not supposed to take part of this discussion. So in case of group percentage, I got

58.33%. In case of dyad situation, I am considered as low SPCC category as I have secured 50% and
that determines I am not able to open up in dyad situation. In case of strangers, I feel problem
situations and these situations are as embarrassing for me as I cannot even feel free to them
immediately. I am quite introvert and this problem suffers me in results of anxiety and tensions. I
have just secured 28.75% which indicates low SPCC. In case of acquaintance, I can express my
feeling partially as they are not fully known to me so it is getting tough for me to gel with them in
such small time and that identifies my introvert attitude towards anyone. 61.25% of acquaintance
conversation demonstrates that fact that I am quite low in theaspect of meeting this SPCC. My
freeness and urge of voice, conflict, expression all these are coming out when I am in midst of my
friend as they know me and I am quite aware of their specialty, weakness and all so I can relate this
knowledge and consider my words in that manner.
NIS-S is a process of non-verbal activities, and I am considered myself as in the moderate
stage. Gestures, expression, facial movements, hand activities, body language all these are related to
this process, and I use my hand while speaking. There are some situations where I have to modulate
my voice for attributing any character, however, I have dignity in my body language, and I never use
my hand on theshoulder or avoid my eye contact. I have scored 88 on that occasion which
determines I have a good body position while talking.
In the personal self-diagnosis process, I have scored high in number. The score was 52 which
signify my potentiality in excellent presentation. The way I present something to audiences are
attractive and eye-catching and they fall deep into my conversation. The level of conversation
develops their justification when I questioned them about the topic and tried to involve them in the
topic which can influence them also for better understanding. If they deliver any kind of answers
they have to think over the matter at first and then provide the judgment. So in that scenario, my
culture, and understanding to read audiences showcase a better perspective and audience love to feel
my presence. My interesting nature praised by audience and they prepare to pay attention to my
words and that also help me to do my presentation in an effective way. The kind of energy and

positive attitude I show in my presentation arena is strong and effective for the audience, they also
feel charged by the flow of energy creates by me and that is impacted over them also. In most of the
cases I prepare my speech and doing rehearsals for that presentation and that help me at the time of
presentation.
I have good people skill and that reflected on my result. I have scored 60 marks and that
signifies I can involve in every situation and tries to deliver a proper solution to people. I have the
quality of man-management and this quality help me to deliver a better understanding of people. I
know the appropriate approach to deliver the simple outcome of the complex situation and that is the
reason people trust me and come up to me for the solving their problem or issues. I know different
kinds of problem-solving tools and techniques and that help me to find out the desired solution.
Sometimes, I pay a good attention over people’s body language and that helps me to find out the
desire need or the confidence of that people and I also assume about the potentiality of the person in
future. In case of the conflict situation, I usually try to preserve the relationship no matter the big
conflict is. For that reason, a better relationship will grow with people and that helps me to connect
with people take help from them in future prospects (Kaul, 2014). Good relationship and the better
communicative approach help my image to maintain people culture and the form a team to meet the
organizational objectives.

2. C. Two key communication issues
The above findings I have found that major concerns in my communication are lack of
confidence and intercultural communication. For the first concern, I have to build my attitude in such
way that fears and anxiety did not come to my mind. When I am going to deliver any kind of speech
fear and anxiety rigid situation may happen before the performance starts. After the few minutes,
things are quite normal and I deliver my best at that time. Confidence is the major factor in this
situation I need to improve my communication and for that motivation and confidence are the key
factors behind that. In anaspect of intercultural communication, I need to enhance my knowledge so
that I can take my part in theintercultural communication process. Different issues used to discuss in
those situations so better understanding in knowledge and implementation is needed in that occasion.
2. D. Reflection from past issues
I have faced this kind of situations in recent past. In a speech at my university I fumble at in
situation at the beginning and then my speech goes on at an immense pace. The reason behind this
fumble situation is lack of confidence in the first period of time and then after few minutes, it
becomes easier. This is one of the incidents that determine my weakness about this communication
issue. Another issue like intercultural communication problem has also been faced by me in a
seminar, where students from different cultural people are present on that occasion and I found it
difficult when American history conflict situation has been discussed. I am not good on this subject
it was tough for me to deliver any productive speech on that subject. I understand my weakness and
tried to enhance my knowledge in adifferent way.
3. Literature Review
Communication issues and concept
Communication issue are relevant enough to interact with people and also important for
sharing thoughts and feelings. Communication can enhance business opportunities, personal growth,

and interpersonal establishment, exchange of thoughts, multi-dimensional signals from non-verbal
approach and sharing of information is the key factor of communication (Popp, Raneburger &
Kaindl, 2013). There are mainly two types of communication verbal and non-verbal and both these
communication are important to develop the level of communication level. There are certain tools
are required for the test and through this test some of the issues are highlighted.
The most common communication issues are interpersonal communication. Effective
interaction is needed for the development of thebusiness sector or in case of personal development.
Hence, team member needs to take active participation in that process so that good issues come up
and proper collaboration or team bonding evolved. As commented by Peleckien & Polajeva
(2016),there are some misunderstanding can leading to miscommunication and proper leading
mannerism can change this dimension of the communication. These concerns can be solved by
enduring focused on the purpose. Mounting understanding towards the people can guide to building
poise to approach people of diverse cultures. In this stare, it can be alleged that definite models are
linked with communication and that can be used in different categories to make certain effective
convey of communication.
Communication Model
Communication model are important for the development of interpersonal communication
and showing the process in which communication functions can be deliver in a better way. In this
assignment Shannon and Weaver model is one of the basic communication models that designed as
mirror functioning. In this model, there are four primary parts like Information source, transmitter,
receiver and destination. Information extracted from the source and then it carried through any kind
of transmitter and hit on the receiver. In between that any kind of noise is considered as the
interruption and communication relation staged on that process. The same process is applicable for
the reverse proposition and that provide enough strength over that. In this communication process,
sender of the message is considered as the resource (McQuail & Windahl, 2015). Noise is creating
problem and miscommunication can be done in that process, thus proper channelize function can be
