INTRODUCTIONEmployability skills can be defined as transferable skills required by a person to makethem employable. The organisation wants to hire most talented and knowledgable workers sothat individuals can perform their task as per the requirements of corporation. To enhance theseskills, management provides training to staffs. To understand this concept better,InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has being selected which is incorporated in UnitedKingdom. In this report,following topics are covered such as own roles and performanceobjectives & recommendations for improvements, develop interpersonal and transferable skills,effective time management strategies and roles people play in a team and how they can worktogether to achieve shared goals.TASK 11.1 Set of own responsibilities and performance objectives According to me human resource manager of company plays an important role so that itcan achieve its objectives. It is responsible to select most suitable candidates who perform theirtask effectively which is helpful to achieve the targets. The HR manager of IHG perform itsresponsibilities as per the requirements of corporation which is helpful to achieve performanceobjectives. Personal responsibility is the responsibility of an individual at work place which is tocomplete the work as per the requirement of company. It involves: Adaptability & flexibility : As per my views the persons should adapt the changes as perthe requirement of IHG and which shows the flexibility that an individual can adjust in any typeof working environment and condition. Decision making & career planing : I think a person is responsible to take decisionsabout its career planning so that it can achieve its personal goals and targets. Ability to learn: According to me an individual should emphasis to learn as much as itcan so that their skills can be develop which contribute the IGH to achieve its objectives. Legislations, ethics, employment rights and responsibility : I think a person isresponsible to follow the compliances of legislation, ethics and employment rights so that workcan be done effectively and operations does not get hamper. As a result IHG can survive for along time and get success and growth.

Performance objectives : Initial assessment : In this stage an individual can set its targets that what it should do tomaximize its performance so that skills can develop as per the requirement of organisation. It ishelpful for the organisation to achieve its goals and objectives.Ways to improve performance : According to me there are various ways which arehelpful to improve the performance which are as: training should be given by the IHG to itsemployees so that they can persons better. Performance should be monitor regularly so thatemployees can work effectively. 1 .2 Analysis of Own effectiveness against defined objectivesThe human resource manager of an organisation is responsible to perform its roleseffectively so that business objectives can be accomplished. Thus the HR manager employabilityskills affects the functioning of staffs and corporation activities. Some of these are describedbelow :Formulation of policies & strategies : To make appropriate policies and strategies areimportant for an organisation so that it can achieve its predetermined objectives. It helpful for thecorporation to get success and growth (Dhar, 2012).Adequate administration at office premise : For the human resource manager of IHG,it is essential to succeed operations in effective way and ensure that employees feel safe at officepremise of corporation. As a result workers feel comfortable and put maximum efforts to usetheir own effectiveness so that organisational objectives can be accomplish. Employment legislation : The HR manager of IHG is responsible to follow theemployment legislation by using own effectiveness so that employees rights can be protected. Asa result they feel secure and focuses to achieve the objectives of organisation.Own skill evaluation is helpful to develop my skills, knowledge and capabilities as aresult I will work as per the requirement of organisation which is helpful to accomplish theobjectives and goals.
