INTRODUCTION Employability skills are the important part in an organisation as it helps in order to improve the performance of employees and also motivate others to work in an effective manner. Employees has their own responsibilities which needs to be improve with the help of various strategies, methods and techniques as it is useful in enhancing the motivation of employees. Moreover, team working is also helpful for an organisation as it smoothen the functioning of organisation by using different methods in order to achieve team goals(Suleman, 2016). For this, various strategies are used to solve the issue and an organisation use these strategies in order to develop solutions. This report is in the context of National Trust which is situated in Wales, England. This report is going to determine own responsibilities and performance and also develop interpersonal and transferable skills for it. Moreover, it also understands the various dynamics of team working and develops appropriate strategies in order to solve the problems. TASK 1 P1.1 Develop a set of own responsibilities and performance objectives Employees who work in an organisation are expected to complete their work on time and thistaskcomesundertheirresponsibility.Here,boththeemployerandemployeesare responsible to complete the task in an effective and efficient manner(Lim and et. al., 2016). If I was employee of national trust organisation I would develop my own set of responsibilities and performance objectives which are mentioned as under: Job Responsibility:It is important element which helps in developing the productivity of an organisation as it describes the power and authority of employee and whom they liable for their work. For an employee it is important to complete their task specific time period is it helps in motivating other imprints and increases the image of company in market. Mutual Responsibility:It is the major responsibility which describes the coordination and cooperation of employees for each other. This responsibility should be present in each and every employee who works in an organisation as it develops the positive environment or healthy workplace(Abas and Imam, 2016). It is also helpful for employees as each of them can prevent from violation and easily share each other’s work. Customer Satisfaction:It is the primary quality service it is provided by employees as it helps in developing their reputation and image of organisation. Thus, supervision is required at various levels as it helps in increasing the cost and efficiency of an organisation. P1.3 Recommendations for improvement Various problems arise at workplace but an organisation Run in a smooth manner after overcoming these problems and it can be done because of performance appraisal as it analyse the importance of improvement. Several recommendations for improvement are mentioned as under: ď‚·With the help of communication it is possible to overcome the issues as it helps in providing the appropriate and effective information it helps in improving the performance 2

It is helpful for the higher authorities to reach to the employees and interact with them on their performance. Compensation is the element which helps in motivating the employees and motivated employees automatic leads to improve their performance which increases the overall performance of an organisation(Tsitskari and et. al., 2017). In this element employees get payment hikes perks and incentives which helps in inspiring then to work. Moreover, recognitionhelpincontributingtheperformanceofemployeesisitincludethe acknowledgement and rewards. Another factor is the training and flexible working conditions training helps in in getting knowledge and updating employees about the latest technology. Because of training employees feel confidence in them and complete their task with zeal. Flexibility helps them in balancing their personal and professional timing which helps employees to work in an appropriate manner. P1.4 Review how motivational techniques can be used to improve quality of performance Motivation helps in encouraging the employees and meeting the desired goals and objectives. These techniques are useful in order to inspire the employees of the organisation which are mentioned as under: Maslow’s need theory:This theory defines the different levels and needs which motivate the employees in order to work in an appropriate manner. These needs are firstly analysed by Maslow and it depicts the range of psychological to social(O’Connor and Bodicoat, 2017). This theory defines the need of food clothing shelter which comes under thepsychologicalanddefinesthesocialneedswhichdepictstherespectand acknowledgement. Safety needs and protection against exploitation are relies under the security needs. Employee Participation:According to this theory, the participation of employees in decision making process is important as it makes them feel valuable and worthy for an organisation. It is also helpful for an organisation as because of this they get new suggestions and ideas which help them to achieve success in a dynamic business environment. 3

Here, own responsibilities and performance objectives are developed which defines the ability and encouragement in order to accomplish organisational goals(Rowe and Zegwaard, 2017). It depicts the various methodologies which is used order to work or regulate in the different types of situations and also achieve success in a progressive manner. D1. Use critical reflection to evaluate own work and justify valid conclusion Being an assistant manager I would like to set my personal goals as per the needs and requirements of the organisation. This skill should be present in the manager and the head of authority as they become the mediator while solving the problems among the employees and Management(Suleman, 2018).
