The main rationale beyond the present research is to generate an understanding in relation
to talent management and motivation schemes used within an organisation. This is analysed that
there is a presence of different aspects that are essential to be undertaken so that to develop
business in such a way that this would develop the business and helps in attaining business
objectives as well. In this manner talent management is regarded as one of the major practices
that is being utilized by various organisations in respect to mitigate various challenges faced in
their business (Ritala, Vanhala and Järveläinen, 2020). This research report is related with
developing such insight within reader so that differential aspects can be understood by reader in
which they can provide their assistance in dealing with talent management dimension in their
working organisation. Besides this the present research is related with multi perspectives like

assists them grow to their effective capabilities keeping objectives of organisation in mind. The
procedure generally involves determining talent gaps and vacant positions, on-boarding and
sourcing the suitable candidates and developing required skills etc. Basically it puts highlight on
all aspects of human resources in the organisation while ensuring that the company attains the
objectives.

major challenges that are faced by Boots retail due to increasing turnover at workplace are:
Unattained targets and objectives: One of the major challenges related to increased
employee turnover is unattained targets and objectives of the company. When employees leave
the organisation it creates chaos and confusion and objectives remain unattained.
Ineffective customer service: The other major challenges is ineffective customer service
due to employees leaving the organisation. When employees leave the company then it creates
negative impact on existing employees and they become ineffective in providing great customer
service.

According to there are many ways that could be implemented by Boots Retail to mitigate
the problem of staff turnover & enhancing the employee’s talent retention at workplace such as

requirement of employees. Training and development is another way that could be used for
increasing the retention of talent because it improves their skills and knowledge in the

assists in choosing huge amount of respondents from the available population. Whereas, the non-
probability sampling is not chosen because it does not assist in choosing large number of
respondents. The number of respondents are selected on random basis and for this 50 employees
are selected from Boots Retail to gather valid data.
3.5.1 Identifying Population and Research Site
In context to present research 50 staff members are selected as respondents from Boots
Retailer. The research is conducted in the United Kingdom.
3.5.2 Sampling Strategy
The random sampling technique is being used in the present research so to provide a
equal participation chance to each respondent.
3.6 Time horizon
The time horizon is defined as a way that helps researcher in scheduling its effective time
period. Time horizon is classified into two major forms that are: cross-sectional &
longitudinal time horizon. Researcher has chosen time horizon of cross-sectional method
as it assists in achieving objectives & targets in shorter period of time.
3.7 Data Analysis
Data analysis refers to the methodology that pays emphasis upon evaluation and analysis
of data in apt way. It is being categorized in two main forms which are: frequency distribution
analysis & thematic analysis. The present research is dependent upon quantitative research so
researcher has selected frequency distribution analysis to evaluate the accumulated numerical
data.
3.8 Ethical issues
Ethical issues are defined as such challenges which are impacting ethical dignity of the
researcher. Under the research the major ethical issue is related with obtaining consent from
respondents and managing their confidentiality and responsiveness. These are the ethical issues
which may create barriers in attaining research objectives and lead the researcher to face delays
in executing research.

Cost is the other important element needed in conducting the investigation. Cost is
referred as the amount required for taking out activities effectively and efficiently. Researcher
needs fund for traveling, buying stationary things, library etc. It becomes significant for
researcher to make appropriate budget so that activities can be carried out smoothly. The apt
amount required is £1000 for taking out all expenses of the investigation.

Basic dimensions of employee motivation.
Interpretation: Based on to the graph which is analysed that there is a presence of different
dimensions of employee motivation which is exerted within an organisation and helps the
organisation to deal with their objectives. Out of 50 respondents, 20 have said that the major
dimension of employee motivation is related with employee promotion. Other than this, 10
respondents mentioned that employee recognition is the main dimension of employee
motivation. Whereas, only 10 respondents said that employee fringe benefits are the core
dimension of employee motivation. At last 10 respondents have said that employee working
condition is the major dimension of employee motivation. It plays an important role as it
increases the productivity and efficiency of employees due to which they give productive
outcome in accomplishing the task.
Performance increased by receiving employee motivation
Interpretation: According to the graph demonstrated above this is stated that employee
motivation is directly linked with organisational and employee performance. Out of 50
respondents, 45 have said that their performance has increased with the help of employee
motivation. Besides this 5 have said that their performance has not increased due to employee
motivation. This is the major reason that organisations are adopting schemes of employee
motivation so that to attain higher sustainability within their business.
Impact of employee motivation over Boots and their business objectives
Interpretation: According to the above graph this can be interpreted that with the help of
employee motivation various aspects can be attained within the organisation which would be
helpful in dealing with business objectives and acquiring success into the market. In this manner
out of 50 respondents, 20 have said that with the help of employee motivation Boots retail is able
to increase their employee retention. On the other hand, 20 respondents have said that with the
help of employee motivation Boots retail is able to develop productivity of their employees. At
last 10 respondents have said that using employee motivation Boots retail is able to improvise
aspects of employee motivation within their organisation in order to increase the profitability and
growth of business.

the company is losing skills of their employees due to which the company will have to bear

encouraging employee gratitude Boots may develop such strategies to mitigate their issue of high
employee turnover. Besides these 12 respondents have said that by providing flexible
atmosphere to employee this will be easier for Boots to mitigate challenges related with high
employee turnover. At last 20 respondents have said that by allocating right people at right place
will lead Boots to minimise issue of high employee turnover. Through these ways Boot retail can
mitigate the issues related to employee turnover and attract maximum number of people towards
the brand.
Suggestion to Boots retail to improve employee motivation level?
Interpretation: According to the above graph this can be interpreted that Boots is required to
use various strategies so that they can boost level of motivation of their staffs and minimise
employee turnover within their organisation. Out of 50 respondents, 15 have said that by
recognising employee efforts this will be easier for Boots retail to improve employee motivation
level. On the other hand, 10 respondents have said that by offering impressive benefits to
employee Boots retail is able to develop employee motivations level. On the other hand, 15 have
said that setting of small measurable objectives within organisation will lead Boots to enhance
employee motivation. At last 10 have said that by establishing effective communication within
the organisation Boots may enhance employee motivation within workplace.

Conclusion
From the above research this can be concluded that employee motivation is considered as
one of the greatest aspect which is used within business and helps in gaining various objectives
in the business. With the help of employee motivation this is easier for the companies to enhance
their business objectives and to develop market aspect as well. This is analysed that employee
motivation is one of the greatest dimension which is used within business so that to acquire
success and to develop market prominence as well.
Recommendations
This is analysed that Boots is required to develop various aspects in their business so that
they can develop employee motivation and retain their employees within their organisation. In
this manner with the help of effective communication Boots may generate higher employee
motivation which leads the organisation to develop employee productivity and employee
retention as well. On the other hand, by providing measuring amount of motivation higher
employee engagement can be attained which helps in developing the business so that to exert
higher retention as well.
EXECUTION FOR FURTHER RESEARCH
The present research has taken out information about the importance of motivation
schemes in an organisation as this helps in encouraging and motivating employees. In the present
research primary and secondary piece of information is taken out. This would help in conducting
research in future as proper information about sources would be known.
