INTRODUCTIONFacilities operation management defines as management of overall business operations,procedure, people, services or products and tools required to manage service., It Theyfocusesfocus on efficient operation of company (Menassa and Baer, 2014). Facilities manager inthis management play essential role in managingas to managed entire functions and activities. .The present reports is based on facilities' manager appointed in newly build hotel known as Irishin London.It explains responsibilities of facilities manager towards staff, customers usingfacility as well as operational aspects of building. This study justifies UK statutory regulationthat impact facilities operations and also define environmental, safety and health measures thatshould be implemented in UK in facilities operations. It clarifies documentation required into account for compliance with health and statutoryregulations and environmental issues in UK. Furthermore, this report justified development ofeffective programs tofor maintain communication and processing information at hotel. Itexplains control system and appropriate criteria to measure effectiveness andad quality offacilities operations. Process of implementing evaluation and review processes to analyse qualityand it also explain appropriate approach and system used to identify suitability of effectiveprogram to manage physical service.LO 1Responsibilities of facilities manager towards its staffFacilities manager is responsible for maintenance, security and services of work facilitiesto assure that they match needs of employees and organization (Smith, P., 2014). Facilitiesmanager of new built hotel known namedas Irish hotel in London is responsible for employeessafety and security. TheyHe/she has several responsibilities towards their staff members such asassure team about achieving and maintain agreed work performance standards. She/heFacilitiesmanager is responsible for responding quickly or appropriately to emergencies issues of workeras they deal and arise with consequences. They assure staff about their safety and health requirements and services incompliancecomply with legislation. Facilities manager is accountable for facilities such assecurity, cleaning and parking to make ensure that surrounding environment is appropriatecondition to employees to work (Elmualim and Gilder, 2014). He/sheFacilities manager isresponsible for formulating plans for developing business in future which is beneficial for staff1
