INTRODUCTION In the world of corporate, there are different types of factors are available that impact behaviour of a company management and its workers as well. It can be social, personal, behavioural and environmental that affects overall productivity and performance of staffs. The current assignment will be based on TESCO, which included in list of leading supermarket brands in the United Kingdom. This study will explain aspects of environmental, personal and behavioural elements from Bandura’s Social cognitive concept. Furthermore, this report will define factors that will impact behaviour in context of give case study base on chosen brand and its employees. MAIN BODY Examine factors that impacted behaviour of workers Socialcognitivetheorydefinesinfluenceandeffectsofindividualexperiences, environmental forces and actions of other people on an individual health nature. This model is beginning as social learning concept in 1960s that posits that learning happens in social context with reciprocal and dynamic interaction of a person nature and atmosphere. It caters chances for social support through self efficacy, expectations, self control, reinforcements, behavioural capability and utilizing observational learning to achieve behaviour modification. The theorists of above model propose that an individual set aims for themselves and guide his or her nature accordingly. This theory could be implemented as theoretical model in varied populations and settings. Social cognitive theory is effectively utilized to direct behaviour change interventions. By applying this concept, three different elements can identified that could influence behaviour of TESCO applicants. Personal factors- It category include knowledge, experience, self construal, cognitive biases, personality, sense of control and felt accountability and values, it also includes nature of job in form of personal elements. In case of TESCO, nature of job is one of the factors that put negative impact on employees who have worked in above firm from long period of time. It can refer to common daily activities carried out as part of female and male job that could be needed. For example, workers while performing in supermarket experience negative aspects because of his or her job nature in term of shifting soon from one outlet to other department and stores, which is the toughest part of different job roles (Zhigulina, 2018). It put negative impact on working nature 3
and positive behaviour of staff as it leads to decrease performance level and productivity level which also affect overall business performance in form of minimize operational efficiency and effectiveness. The behaviour of staff could impact by different forces along with above one. Leaders and managers behaviour towards their workers affect each applicant nature. For example, in give case study, it has been identified that workers could not feel any connection or bond with their co-workers which negatively influence their behaviour in term of decreasing motivational level and ability to work for longer. Lack of collaboration and communication between all employees within TESCO can leads to decrease productive nature of staff which is not suitable and appropriateforfirmanditsfurtherstrategicmanagementplansandstrategiesaswell. Furthermore, lack of manager support in context of solving this problem can also impact candidate behaviour negatively. For example, when administration could not consider the needs of its applicants and never attempts to solve their problem, it occur risk within a organization in term of high employee turnover, which directly decrease sales and internal capabilities of businesses in negative manner. Because of these behaviour employees put complain about manager behaviour and decide to switch to other employment opportunities that assist obtaining better job satisfaction which could not found in chosen firm. All these personal factors also affect customers’ service and their satisfactory level in negative manner as it leads to decrease consumer base. Environmental factors- Workplace design, noise, interior plants, indoor temperature and colour are included in list of environmental elements that could affect workers and their behaviour as well at workplace within an organization. The environment of TESCO plays vital role in success and growth of workers as it foster them to be productive and allow contributing in gaining competitive advantages which is really very essential to gain for company. In case of chosen company, the overall environment within organizational workplace is quite effective and influencing as management put all the things according to his or her workers needs. In give case study, it has been identified TESCO worker commit that manager nature it quite helpful they happily support and help all applicants especially when he or she is facing health issues that can impact mental and physical health of person in negative manner, which is very risky. 4

When lights are properly structured, when workplace interior is effective and appropriately set out, employees like to work and feel motivated which in return increase productivity and motivational level for achieving aims and gaining competitive edge for supermarket. Furthermore, organizational culture can consider as environmental factor that impact how workers conduct themselves with suppliers, consumers and co-workers. Some people at workplace within TESCO Company can feel happier things and few experience negative aspects, both have different aspects that affect performance, motivation, productivity and behaviour. Supportive nature of management always influence person to conduct hard work and practice without taking too much stress, while lack of support from manager or leader side decrease sales as it minimize efficiency of staff. In order to grow and get success administration should conduct beneficial activities in favour of staff that can create pleasant and productive environment at workplace which turn into increasing employee motivation and moral even better. Behavioural factors- Social cognitive theory model along with above factors can also define this one that influenceandimpactapplicant’sbehaviourandperformance.Forexample,behaviourof organizational management towards its staff is not effective as they take decision to cut down 4,500 jobs at Tesco Metro without making any form of discussion with people who work for it for achieving common aims by focusing on daily task and accomplish on time without making any mistake. This decision of top authority of TESCO could leads to legal problems that decrease sales and negatively impact brand image within market place which also affect its customer base in term of decreasing consumer service quality because most efficient workers after this judgement could not perform. This kind of behaviour is not appropriate as it bring more challenges for company from which it could overcome by taking right action in term of developing and offering job opportunities as opposite to cut it down. 5
It can be analysed that supportive nature and behaviour is beneficial as it boost performance and work efficiency of workers even better than last few months or years. In similar manner, when manager in TESCO support its staff in term of managing his or her daily work by providing suggestions and right directions it leads to increase productivity which is very useful and beneficial in different terms. It refer to give case study, staff member felt that management and other applicants are rude they never encourage people and behave badly that impact mental and physical health of any persons negatively. All these factors has impacted behaviour in varied manner some increase productivity and few decrease it, for which firm would take better decision and consider approaches that are beneficial in term of increasing satisfaction of consumers and workers as well. CONCLUSION By summing up above discussion it has been summarized that Social cognitive theory has defined three different forms of factors that directly put negative or positive impact on an individual activity and its decision making. By cutting jobs, TESCO face legal problem as it business survive from crisis which leads to decrease its sales and profitability. Furthermore, it has been identified that workers within chose brand by experiencing negative aspects or feeling because of different reasons decrease his or her commitment level that is not suitable for further growth of company and current activities as well, while operated in retail industry. From above analysis, it has been identified that Social cognitive theory defines personal, behavioural and environmental factors are related to give case study based on TESCO and its staff. 6
