INTRODUCTION
In the world of corporate, there are different types of factors are available that impact
behaviour of a company management and its workers as well. It can be social, personal,
behavioural and environmental that affects overall productivity and performance of staffs. The
current assignment will be based on TESCO, which included in list of leading supermarket
brands in the United Kingdom. This study will explain aspects of environmental, personal and
behavioural elements from Bandura’s Social cognitive concept. Furthermore, this report will
define factors that will impact behaviour in context of give case study base on chosen brand and
its employees.
MAIN BODY
Examine factors that impacted behaviour of workers
Social cognitive theory defines influence and effects of individual experiences,
environmental forces and actions of other people on an individual health nature. This model is
beginning as social learning concept in 1960s that posits that learning happens in social context
with reciprocal and dynamic interaction of a person nature and atmosphere. It caters chances for
social support through self efficacy, expectations, self control, reinforcements, behavioural
capability and utilizing observational learning to achieve behaviour modification. The theorists
of above model propose that an individual set aims for themselves and guide his or her nature
accordingly. This theory could be implemented as theoretical model in varied populations and
settings. Social cognitive theory is effectively utilized to direct behaviour change interventions.
By applying this concept, three different elements can identified that could influence behaviour
of TESCO applicants.
Personal factors-
It category include knowledge, experience, self construal, cognitive biases, personality,
sense of control and felt accountability and values, it also includes nature of job in form of
personal elements. In case of TESCO, nature of job is one of the factors that put negative impact
on employees who have worked in above firm from long period of time. It can refer to common
daily activities carried out as part of female and male job that could be needed. For example,
workers while performing in supermarket experience negative aspects because of his or her job
nature in term of shifting soon from one outlet to other department and stores, which is the
toughest part of different job roles (Zhigulina, 2018). It put negative impact on working nature
