Introduction
This unit has been prepared with the aim of enabling learners to achieve the knowledge of the
cultural and heritage industry in the proper manner. The enlargement and growth of the
traditional and heritage industry have been discussed in this unit of cultural and heritage tourism.
It includes a poster for the better understanding of it. This unit also includes a draft article which
explains the would-be conflicts in the conversation of traditional and cultural resources by taking
the case of Venice in Italy and Barcelona in Spain. On the other hand, it also includes the
experiences and observations of the trip to British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The various purposes of heritage and cultural attractions for accomplishing the needs and
requirements of visitors have also explained in this unit in a well-behaved manner.

1.1 Analyse the growth and development of the heritage and cultural industry
Notes-According to Giaoutzi (2017), this poster helps in understanding the appreciative
development and enlargement of the heritage and cultural industry. As same it includes the
different explanations about the development and advancements of cultural and heritage
(Giaoutzi, 2017).
According to Ramli (2017), the development of the growth has analysed in this poster in a
well-behaved manner with the reasons of satisfying the customers and visitors, expanding the
employment opportunities, facilitating transportation and etc. The main purposes of the
expansion of heritage and cultural sites like getting attached to the past, preserving the heritage
for future has also explained well herein. It also includes the timeline as well (Ramli, 2017).
