needs and availability of employees in organisation for the
purpose of attaining determined goals and objectives of
business.
Main purpose of HR planning is to make sure that
organisation has right number of human resources at right
time, right place with having right capabilities.

Human resource planning: It is defined as the continuous process
of analysing needs of employees in organisation and availability of
human resources as well as lead their efforts towards attaining
common goals and objectives of organisation. Sainsbury ensures that
right and capable employees are appointed at right position.
Employee retention: It is defined as the ability of organisation to
prevent employee turnover rate or reduce the number of people who
leave their jobs from organisation in a certain period of time.
